it doing matter what brand of bags i use as long as i like the style, color and how big it is. once i have a favorite bag...i'll use it everynow and then until i find another one to like. so far i haven't falling out of love with any of my stuff.

I've fallen out of love with Botkier. I used to be a little obsessed, but now just want to unload them somehow. Right now my flavor of the moment is Alexander Wang, but these things always change. I'm sure next year at this time I will be on to something completely different.

Dooney & Bourke and Louis Vuitton. I used to love Dooney & Bourke but then they made that patent leather line that is prone to tearing (at least from what I have heard) and I absolutely hate their newer stuff--it just seems so ugly lately. And Louis Vuitton--I went back to my hometown for a visit, and I swear everyone was carrying a monogram or Damier Speedy.

I ended up falling in love with Coach when they made the Sabrina bag. So much so that I've left Dooney behind, and have not looked back.

Another one that has completely gone off Belen Echandia!

I too don't buy with the intention to sell on, so resale isn't important and I'm not a huge bag collector. I buy a couple that suit my everyday needs. What originally drew me to this brand was the uniqueness of it, and the fact that I wouldn't see this brand toted all over Europe, compared to more well known/popular brands.

However, after getting my first BE bag which was total joy, soon led to HUGE disappointment. I didn't find the same quality in my other bag, and purses. I found the threaded handles dated and irritable, never staying on my shoulder, the leather to be thinner, and more delicate with hardware easily falling off. IMO, the new bags are a mish-mash of past and present styles, and frankly the customer service is questionable.

I've since branched out and become hugely interested in Mulberry, Hermes and BV (only SLG'S though). Through the PF I've learned so much about these brands, and it has made me re-evaluate what I want to suit MY lifestyle, and dress sense. For me Mulberry and Hermes has the SIMPLICITY and CLASSIC look of what I need in a bag, and more importantly, the QUALITY is outstanding, and if I'm going to drop some money, you better believe it's going to last for YEARS and YEARS!! :D

Oops, sorry for the epic!!

before when i do watch business, i no any feel to the hanbags,i think handbags just a container to put your thing, but when last year i do brand handbags business, every day i need check hundred all kinds leather handbags, now i love them so much!!! Alexander Wang is my new lover,i like this style.:lolots:

I love bags, but nothing has spoken to me enough that I would want to buy. I am very content carrying around my two year old LV Neverfull PM these days. Lucky for me there aren't a lot of LV fakes in my area. The most popular fake seems to be Chanel Cambons. I've bought a few Coach accessories, but I don't see myself buying a Coach bag anytime soon either. I agree with the posters who disliked the Poppy line. I remember one of the early Poppy bags had glitter in the strap. It reminded me of a bag that I see hanging in a mall kiosk for $10.

i've been devoted to one brand for awhile now and haven't bought much of anything else, but i'd have to say that prada's really declined in the past few years. i used to be a huge fan of their classic, sophisticated styles, and they're tragically veering away from that path. many of the new bags i've seen look cheap. it's really disappointing.

I'm falling out of love with Gucci, and LV....I have too much of them, besides, everyone and their mama has one. The new 2010 Gucci cruise collection isn't so hot either...boohoo.
I won't be looking forward to their spring sale next year to get rid of all this years collections. I'm trying to get my hands on a Chanel 2.55 lambskin, and the White and Black Clemence Hermès Birkins.
Coach, D&B, MK, LAMB doesn't even exist in my collection, and I don't think they ever will.

Coach! I see too many fakes and just too many Coach bags around in general...they're everywhere! Plus the whole outlet thing. I hesitate to buy anything at the store even with the 25% off they do once in a while cause a couple months later that bag will be at the outlet for 30% to 50% off or more!

I dunno if this counts or not but I really wanted a Burberry bag but now I hear that they are being made in China now & so I think that is a put off for me from me buying this brand of bag. I still like the scarves & umbrellas though.
