I have the La Maison books, the photography inside is most excellent. A couple years ago I visited a fashion museum in Antwerp where they had the 'Margiela The Hermes years Exhibition' we weren't allowed to take pictures but I sneaked lots and then bought the book with the same name. Very interesting and great photos inside too!Thank you for sharing. I purchased the set from Steidl in Germany. Fast shipping and great packaging.
BTW, I also read bringing home the Birkin and Deluxe. Enjoyed all of them!

This is so interesting @lala28 - thank you for posting and if you have any more...Oh, and the historical information about other designers is fascinating as well because you can read about how they were influenced by Hermes (or how Hermes was influenced by them). I found this section on Ludwig Lederer to be interesting:

Lederer did “Kelly style” bags in the 1960s which I think is before the H Kelly bag was officially coined the Kelly. Anyway, look at the details of the Lederer bags — look familiar?
This is where I learned that Hermes was first to secure a patent on the zipper! It was called “one of the most radical inventions in the history of fashion”.
Oh no that’s too bad! Thanks for the helpful info! I also got it and love it! Unfortunately, two corners of the Le Grand Prix du Faubourg ripped after only a few uses. I didn't think I was rough with it though. Oh well.
I noticed a book at Amazon called Fierce and Fragile: Big Cats in the Art of Robert Dallet by Alan Rabinowitz. It probably gives some wonderful insight into his work for Hermes.
