This book has a section "How a Kelly Bag is Made" plus pictures and information about other Hermes Bags. It also has beautiful pictures of numerous famous handbags as well (Chanel, Dior, Judith Leiber, etc.).
Just got home from a very stressful day to find this book. Sat down in my reading chair with my blanket, fur baby and a cup of coffee to enjoy

I had a nice surprise on Wednesday evening with this book, forgot I preordered it on Amazon! The illustrations are wonderful aren’t they. What’s also wonderful is your Rallye 24 platter; I’m rather envious as I wanted the black but it was discontinued so I had to settle for the white oneJust got home from a very stressful day to find this book. Very helpful post, thank you! I recently learned of the Lederer versions of “the Kelly” and those of L.K. Bennett browsing auction sites. So far, it seems the white ones are lovely, haven’t seen any colors but your post gives me hope.
I own this book by the author, Arnoud Last. I purchased it directly from the author via eBay. Not sure if he's still selling it there now. He also has a website where it can be purchased. It's an expensive book (around $300) with a lot of detailed photos and descriptions of minute changes that have taken place with the Kelly, Birkin, and Constance over the years. It contains a lot of large, page-filling photos, but they are mostly of vintage bags as you would expect by the title. I hope the author writes another book covering the years 2000 forward. It's eyecatching so displays nicely on a coffee table.
I guess he's not making it available on there right now. His website is: https://www.vintage-hermes.com/ . You can probably buy it there. I remember it was around the same price on both eBay and on his website when I purchased mine a year or two ago.
I just came across it on eBay while shopping for something else. If you search on eBay for "Luxury Book on the History of Hermes Birkin, Kelly & Constance" it should pop up. I noticed it a good bit more expensive on eBay than on his website.
I know there is a thread somewhere on books about Hermes, sorry Mods, I just can't find it so maybe you can move this please
