Hi Emma!

Yes, please send me a pic of all 3 together. That would help me so much in deciding! So sweet of you to do that

Which do you prefere? Small or the Toy Puffer?

Thanks!
Here you are. :flowers:

Not sure which bag I like more - maybe that is why I have both.
But to be honest, my most worn bag is still the Lou Camera (together with my Pochette Metis) though I love the others.

The camera bag is completely carefree and versatile - a workhorse bag compared to the piece of art the Puffers are.

Between the Puffers I get a little more wear out of the toy size. It still fits a lot (more than other mini bags) and because I have sized down my stuff over the years it is big enough most of the time.

As an alternative I would also mention the baby Niki. I have the medium size and it is my second most worn YSL bag when I need to carry more. The baby Niki is on the top of my wishlist.

Thanks so much for posting these pictures. If its not too much trouble can you post a pic off all 3 from the front view as well? :)

I was actually thinking of selling my camera bag and getting either the toy or small puffer but you make a good point with the camera being carefree and versatile. Maybe I wont sell it afterall.

The baby Niki is really nice too.

For your camera and toy the hardware is silver right? I prefer the silver hardware. My camera is silver hardware and same with the puffer when I decide on the size. I noticed on the camera though that the silver is darker. It looks lighter to me on the puffers? Is this true?

Thanks again for your help!

My camera bag has the gold hardware, the toy is grey (storm) with silver hardware. But yes, I think the silver on the cameras is more antique while the silver on the puffers appears shiny.

I have tried to capture the difference in size with a photo from the front but the angle/perpective is deceiving. The bag in the front always looks larger and I found the picture misleading.

I can place them side by side tomorrow in daylight (it is already evening here). Maybe this gives a better impression.

For the moment I would probably keep the camera. If you find out that you prefer the new one you can still sell it. The camera is a classic in my opinion and won’t disappear in the near future. As the prices of new bags are rising I don’t see the risk of losing money because of waiting a few more months.

That would be great! Just want to see them all together side by side as well. It all helps with me deciding :)

Do you prefer just a plain leather strap on the camera or the chain straps on the loulous? Any cons to having chain straps?

Youve got a beautiful collection of purses.

Thank you

Personally I love chains but occasionally I prefer the leather strap because it doesn’t make ans noise.
On the camera I like the leather strap more than a chain (which comes with the mini camera) but I think it depends on personal preferences and where you mainly use the bag.
Maybe that’s why I wouldn’t sell neither my camera nor the puffer.

Keep in mind that the chain on the toy puffer can’t be doubled. I have bought a clasp so I can shorten the chain for wearing it as a shoulder bag.

Attached is a picture of all three bags side by side.

Thanks so much for the front pics. They are all beautiful!

Its true I like the camera's leather strap too because it doent make any noise. But I guess if I buy the puffer then Ill see what I think of having a chain strap.

Oh yes thats right, the toy puffer cant be doubled. Thanks for reminding me. I am still torn in which to get - the Toy or the Small puffer. I know I want black with silver hardware but still trying to figure out which size would be best for me. Toy is similar in size to Camera and Small is bigger but still would look good crossbody Im sure. Decisions, Decsions LOL

Thanks again so much for posting all these pics so I can compare both size puffers with the camera.

I have the small puffer in black with silver hardware. It’s one of my best purchases and I have been purchasing bags for many years. It’s the perfect size ..not too big and not too small but holds what I need yet I don’t feel I need to downsize what I put in it. I was also concerned about the chain strap making it heavy but the bag is incredibly lightweight. It’s quite remarkable how lightweight it is. The fact I can carry on shoulder or crossbody is also a big plus. I also have a Lou camera and I like that bag too but not quite as much as the puffer. Good luck deciding.

How about the camera bag? Has it been spacious enough for you in the past? If it was often more of a tight fit I would possibly go with the small puffer. But if the camera has been fine before and had enough room I would go with the toy puffer. The price is noticeably lower on the toy and I would decide on the size which fits your needs best.

For me the toy has enough room most of the time and that’s why I reach out to this bag more often, though I really love the small puffer.

Yes I think the fact that you can carry the small puffer on shoulder or wear as crossybody is appealing to me too and I do like that its bigger then the toy which I feel is similar in size to my camera purse.

Being very lightweight is also a big plus for me. Thats good to know the chain isnt too bothersome.

Thanks for your input. It really helps me on deciding which is best when I get others opinions

I find the Camera to be a tight fit to be honest and do wish it had more room. If my sunglasses have a slim case I can fit them in my Camera but my Chanel sunnies have a bulkier case and I cant fit that in at all with my other stuff thats already in there.

I noticed that too that the Toy is much cheaper then the Small. I think there is a $1000 difference.

Then I would definitely go with the small puffer. The toy is nearly the same size as the camera but it fits a bit less due to the shape.

To me it sounds as if the small puffer would be the better choice for you.

And if you keep the camera you can easily switch between them. They are different enough to justify owning both.

I agree I think the small will be better suited to me as I do need something bigger then my camera and like you said if I keep my camera then I can switch between both when I feel like using a smaller purse.

Thank you again! Love the people on this forum. So helpful and knowledable :)

I would get the small puffer. I have all the bags mentioned above, and if I could only pick 1 it’d be the small puffer. It’s extremely versatile in both size and set up.
