I would like to buy the small puffer in either the white with SHW or the dark beige with GHW. If the dark beige came with SHW I would prefer that but I know it doesnt.
I have a blanc vintage puffer with gold hardware. Definitely, as was said, not as soft as my black puffer. I sprayed it with Carbon Pro and haven't had issues with it getting dirty but I also don't use ot a ton since I rotate bags and don't take my luxury bags to work.

If you are not sure which color combo see if you can check them out at a store. Also look at your current bags, do you have any that are similar size / function in white or beige? If so, get the other color combo. I find that if I have 2 similar color / size / function then one gets more use and the other mostly sits there.

I love this bag though and think having a black puffer, white puffer AND a dark beige (or there is a similar darker color I forget the name) is totally acceptable! Lol! :giggle:

hello! I have only carried this bag a few times and never set it down, am very careful. However, the bottom seam and the corners and top corners where it folds over are quickly losing black dye. Has anyone else had this happen? Is there a fix? I’m so disappointed!4DC670B7-74BA-43BA-BA1A-5D3887C3D37E.jpeg18B99C44-634A-4CC0-A0DD-DD5ED8F00645.jpeg

Oh really it wasnt as soft? I wonder why? I do like the white but I just feel its going to be hard to keep clean. The dark beige is really nice and goes with everything too and dirt wouldnt show up as bad probably.
I’ve noticed the white color puffer style bags aren’t as soft across multiple brands. So it must have something to do with the lighter color leather paint and finish on them, versus the black or darker colors.

That’s definitely not normal at all. It almost looks like chemicals got to it, or it was defective to begin with. I would contact YSL and see if they can do anything about it.

Ya thats true. Would be nice to have the black, white and beige

Ok I saw these puffers over the weekend, and I am totally obsessed. But Holy Batman with the price increases. $3000 now for the small sizes. Sheesh. Now I am looking to hunt down via resale.

I am a little torn on the puffer or a standard Loulou in the same size. And hardware color. I am looking for a bag that is gonna work for casual and dressier occasions, I am a super gold fan. But I have other bags that will easily slot into the I am being fancy vibes (I’ve got a black and gold Diorama). For this slot I want something less structured than my Diorama and everyday spacious. And by casual I mean I might wear it to the gym and then throw on a casual dress and sneakers after.

Does the Puffer get slouchier with time? Did the black puffer get the antique silver hardware? Does anyone have the antique gold - how does it hold up?

For those of you with the regular Loulou - what works better for casual outfits?

I love the super soft leather, but I do have another pillowy squeezable bag (Ferragamo Viva Bow).

I have only had my puffers a year or two. So far they haven't become more slouchy but I do expect them too. I do use organizers and don't use mine every day so they don't get a ton of wear. Hopefully somebody who has had their longer can comment on the slouchiness.

My black puffer with silver hardware is not super shiny. I have a puffer with the antique gold hardware too and no issues with it.

Between the small puffer and small loulou, the puffer is more comfortable and fits more. I love the small puffer style slightly more than the small loulou just because it's more comfortable and I worry less about it since it doesn't stick out as much to possibly bang into things. I think the puffer also has a more casual vibe to it. That said I personally don't mind wearing my small loulou with casual outfits ... but eh, some days I'm just happy if I walk out of the house with some makeup and that my toddler hasn't used my shirt as a napkin so far that day.

The black puffer is super soft compared to the white puffer. For the loulous I haven't noticed any difference in touch between all of the colors.

Price increases have been insane. Hopefully you can find a great preloved deal but don't dismiss looking for it new. I have seen some deals at about $2K plus tax. Elyse Walker had a crazy deal somewhat recently where the small puffer was just under $2K plus tax plus they had an event at the time for $1K or more getting a $100 or $150 GC and $2K or more getting a $500 GC. Somehowadulting on YouTube recently mentioned getting a new small puffer for $1,500 at a YSL outlet. I have also seen some great preloved bags on ebay assuming they are authentic. I really need to stop looking at bags I already have ...

Thank you! It seems like the puffer is a better fit for my casual goals. :) I have enough dressier options that just feel weird when I am super casual. And I should look at the so black version too.

I went to my YSL outlet recently, there had some other bags but no puffers. Or Loulous actually. But there was some similar shaped bag but it had a lot of pockets and a flap pocket. I kind of hate pockets lol. I will keep scoping new as well, I probably want to pay around $2000-2300 or so. Definitely not over $2500.

Check fashionphile. You can probably find a near new one well under 3000

I’m obsessed with my puffers. They’re so soft, comfortable, and mine have worn very well. I don’t feel like they’ve become slouchier overtime. The medium size may, but not the small or toy. I think you’d be able to find one for the budget you’re looking for on preloved sites like fashionphile.

I ordered the small black puffer in gold hardware from Vitkac. Got a call from UPS earlier asking for my SSN, after heavy research I read that it’s needed to clear customs and I double checked the number that called me and it was a legitimate number for customs for UPS. After I provided the info I tracked the package and it said it was cleared from customs and should be arriving tomorrow. Hopefully no issues with the bag!

I, too was looking for a less structured bag to use for work and occasionally going out. I opted for gold only because I have the loulou camera bag in silver. Also saved about $900+ ordering from Vitkac with the 10% discount. Hopefully I won’t get charged any thing else since they did ask for my social. If I were to order from US website it would’ve cost me close to $3500 after taxes!

Hi everyone! I’m interested in purchasing a puffer but need some help deciding. I currently own a small LouLou in black with silver hardware, and a large college bag in black that I’m currently looking to sell, it’s posted on Poshmark and I will also get a quote from Fashionphile.

I’m interested in a puffer in dark beige with gold hardware, I saw it in person at NM and fell in love with how soft and squishy it is and the beauty of this color combo! But I’m torn between small or toy. I’m only 5’2 and am concerned the small will overpower me? But I’m not crazy about how the toy does not have a double strap. The sales lady showed me how to knot the straps on the toy to make them shorter but this sounds pretty inconvenient. Anyway I’d love some suggestions and feedback on how you’re all liking your different puffers, and if anyone has found them for cheaper anywhere recently!

I’m 5’3”, and have both the small and toy. Get the small! If I could do it over I would’ve purchased 2 small’s. The double chains make a huge difference in usability and versatility. And the small isn’t big or bulky. It’s really a perfect size, imo.
