Btw, has anybody seen the (new?) colorway ivoire natural in person and/or compared to the dark beige? I saw it on the website but found no further information.

Ooh yeah if you have a white toy loulou no need for a white puffer. The storm I would want to see in person before pulling the trigger just because I feel like part of the appeal with the puffer is the soft lambskin and I'm not sure how soft crinkled calfskin is. Sorry haven't seen the iviore natural but maybe if somebody goes to a store they'll take/post pics for you. The pics on the YSL website are gawdawful for showing the true color--I don't feel like they even try.

Absolutely true.
I have been at a boutique in November and even the SA had to admit that the colors on the website are awful.

Unfortunately it hasn’t changed over the years though we are not the only ones complaining.

Regarding the calf puffer I am curious how the leather compares to the lamb version. But I remember a calf one I saw back in 2019 at the store (crinkled medium all white/WHW) and it was really lovely.

Well, I have!!! I jumped at the LouLou Puffer in suede through MyTheresa as soon as I saw that the price on this cutie was increased by 350€(!) on YSL.de
So I got it for the old price

I am so in shock. It IS SO beautiful and fluffy and soft and cuddly. It feels like carrying a soft toy under my arm! I just wanna pet it all the time!!!

I saw it last year and always pushed it for a later purchase. Don't know what took me so long!!!

This wasn't a post from someone asking for feedback about whether they should buy this bag, in which case I think a reply noting how suede shows fingerprints is perfectly reasonable. This is a post from someone excited about their new bag. Why reply so negatively?

I can read well enough to know that the original post is back from page 7 of this thread. You replied today to that post, not to any subsequent post about the bag being returned, with no context such as "yes I could see why you might have returned it, suede can be challenging with all the fingerprints it shows." I'd hate for newer folks to these forums to think that they are subject to that type of commentary if they come on here to share their excitement about a new bag.

Hi all - I’m torn between the small puffer in Dark Beige or Dark Honey. Could anyone who owns both or either offer some advice? Or vote in terms of versatility and which would stand the test of time (i tend to go for sthg understated and classic rather than trendy). I currently don’t own any YSL bags so would appreciate any advice. I usually wear neutral colors if it helps, thanks so much!!

I personally think the dark beige is much more versatile, and goes with almost anything. It’s a really great neutral. The dark honey is a very warm brown with orange undertones, so it would be more limiting imo. I also feel like that color is more fall and winter, whereas the dark beige can easily be worn all year round. If you love the dark honey then definitely go for it, but between the two I would do dark beige.

Thanks for replying! I’m also thinking the same. I haven’t had a chance to see the dark beige in person but have seen the dark honey from a distance, which was what got me interested in this line. Though I’m not sure if it’s all the black surrounding it that really made it pop if you know what I mean

I love dark beige and have it in the envelope. I have the small puffer in black and in dusty grey. The dusty grey in the puffer is so stunning. I get compliments everywhere I take her. It's the perfect neutral.

So I got the bag from FWRD and just received it! It looks just like the photos I’ve seen on here but i noticed some slight marks on the bottom of the bag. Since i live in Asia it’s prob not worth it to return it (they don’t pay for return shipping and they’re located in California), has anyone had the same issue or have any advice as to how to clean it? Rubbing it with my bare hand didn’t help lol.. I also noticed an interesting warning that came with the bag for anyone who might want to avoid it

You should at least try to get a discount. Hopefully they will give you a partial refund for the damage. The bag is lambskin I would be nervous about rubbing it too much. Try a damp cloth and rub lightly.

Can someone please tell me if this is the Toy Puffer or Small Puffer. Im having a hard time deciding which to buy? I own the Lou Camera bag. Not sure if the Toy puffer is the same size or slightly bigger then the Camera. I would prefer a little bigger then the Camera I think but not much as I dont want something too big and bulky looking as Im wearing it as a messenger bag. Thanks in advance

I would say the Toy is a little bit smaller than the Lou Camera and the small puffer is larger but not a lot.
