After purchasing many hermes bracelets I decided to try the chaine d'ancre in the large size. I ADORE this bracelet, love it to pieces - goes great with cdc, clics, charnieres....everything in my drawers. HOWEVER, I find it impossible to get the bracelet on and off. I literally was sweating in the boutique yesterday!! (not a pretty sight) I have a small wrist and the bracelet I was trying on was perfect , that is when I got it on...Problem is that I would never be able to take it off!!! I tried to size up but it was waaayyyy too large. Does anyone have any tricks as to this fabulous piece? or is this just not for me??
I have the exact same problem for all my Hermes chaine d'ancre bracelets. The only trick I can give is to put it on your non-dominant arm, as it tends to be the smallest. On the other hand, you become better at taking it off and on over time. I had a very similar experience than you a few months ago when I trying on other chaine d'ancre bracelets, and I was unable to put my Giant Alea bracelet back on, thankfully my SA gave me a dustbag to put it in. Have you tried on other chaine d;ancre bracelets, they might be a better fit for your wrist. I hope that helped.

Thank you so much for your responce. I didn't try on the smaller ones as I like the chunky style. My sa advised i should buy the necklace instead. sigh....really wanted the bracelet.

An old trick is to put a stocking / hoisery / knee-high over your hand when putting on and taking off any bracelet - makes it easier for the bracelet to slip on and off (less friction with the skin of your hand).
HTH.

Did you try on the TGM or the GM because I have the two, and I have to say that the GM is easier to put on. Have you tried on the enchainee bracelets as it is chaine d'ancre look without the toggle. I hope that helps.

i'm pretty sure i have tried on the enchainee bracelet in rose gold that still has the toggle but an added hinge in the middle that may make it easier to put on.

I did not look at the one without the toggle. I think I will the next time I am there. I am unfamiliar with the bracelets so I don't know if it was the TGM or Gm From what the sa's told me the bracelet I tried on is a challenge to get on and off but once you get the hang of it , it becomes less complicated. I am going back next week and try the stocking trick that was mentioned above and see if that works. I've been so wrapped up in the other bracelets I never had this one on my radar and now I can think of nothing else. it never ends.......

I am just wondering if there is suppose to be three stamps on the "O" ring of the Cda?
I have the "925AG", a diamond shaped stamp, and a weird circle.

When you ladies received your Cda, did it any original protective stickers on it? My SA had mine shipped in from a different location and I did not inspect it carefully before purchasing it... I just trusted my SA! But I feel the bracelet has been tried on many times, or it was a return due to the condition it is in :(

Yes, it is normal for the there to be three stamps. They are present on all my CdA bracelets, necklaces, earrings, etc... Every time I have purchased a CdA bracelet, it has never had any protective stickers unlike the cdc's. You should definitely talk to your SA about the condition of the bracelet. This wear may have been due to being tried on in the other store. I am sure your SA would be happy to help. Also, you could still get it polished if there are scratches, but that may take a while. I do hope that they can fix this for you.
