Are you looking for a custom length for the model you are interested in or are you just looking for a standard length that just isn't currently available online?
If you are looking for a custom length then I think the answer depends on whether you've attained a certain standing as a customer. If you've been invited to Special Order bags then you may be able to Special Order a custom length for bracelets/necklaces otherwise you are probably out of luck. I know someone who ordered a custom length for a Chaîne d'Ancre necklace because they are generally too short for most men. However his necklace was ordered years ago and they may no longer be offering Special Orders on jewellery. It may also depend on the metal you are looking for (Silver or Gold). I suppose if you are looking for a Gold model then they may be willing to make a custom length because it's quite an expensive item and they may not want to pass up on such a large sale but I wouldn't hold my breath that it would happen.
If you are just looking for a standard length that isn't currently available online then dealing with a boutique will likely yield success. They can generally transfer from other stores in your country. Depending on your relationship with your SA, they may also be willing to do a worldwide search for you. Standard lengths should be generally available so finding one with a worldwide search should succeed. The downsides are that you generally need to put down a 50% deposit and it generally takes a few weeks to a few months because the item will need to be returned to Paris for quality control before shipping to your boutique. If for any reason that a worldwide search should fail then it may be possible to order a standard length for a customer in good standing. Downside with this option is that it could take quite a long time (6 months to years).

I have had three of my silver necklaces customized to be larger, and various bracelets in both gold and silver. In my experience, I am not sure whether it is special order, but my store (in France) ordered the items then made them go back to the atelier to be altered to the size I desired. I was able to extend one of my necklaces by 15 links once. My store was also able to enlarge my very large enchainee cuff, so the service is not only available for pieces composed of links. My SA has also told me that Hermes is able to modify any jewelry piece if given enough time. Yet, I am not sure this service is available in every boutique as the boutique I use for jewelry has its own jewelry atelier, I have been told. However, my US SA has told me that they need to be sent to Paris, and it can take a few months. You should definitely ask your SA to find out how your boutique handles these requests.

I have the same Chaine d’ancre bracelet. It’s my most treasured H piece. Not only it was given to me by someone very special (who sadly is no longer with us), but also my first H gift when I was very young.
Hello everyone! I posted in the fine jewelry thread earlier but was told to refer to this thread as well. I'm very interested in this Ronde bracelet but was wondering if it is worth it since it looks very thin. Is it durable enough for everyday wear? I'm worried it might break or something if I'm too rough. Also, how secure is the hook closure? Wouldn't want it to fall off and get lost lol.

So actually I might be considering getting the farandole pendant instead. Not sure what I should go for. If I get the pendant with chain, I would have to buy a necklace extender since a 16" length is too small for my neck. Any advice is greatly appreciated guys! Bracelet? or Pendant?
