Thank you! It’s a gorgeous pendant. My only issue is the length.
on the contrary, it's good if it's short, it won't catch/get hooked by anything if you bend and it won't go off your neck with a sweater, it will stay close to the body, and will be secure
I wear my BV necklaces all the time, and they really fill comfortable and safe

Thank you! I love your BV necklace!! It is super gorgeous.

I do agree with what you said about short necklaces and wear my other ones short as well. But this is too short, like tight around my neck and maybe wont even close haha. I ordered an extender from Amazon, hopefully it helps.

Yup lol! I got a pack of 3 in different sizes. They are 14k rose gold filled. Hopefully they are very sturdy. Some folks (one of them being a jeweler) recommended this to me rather than getting the chain itself altered so that I don't ruin it and potentially have hermes not repair it in the future in case something happens to it.

Also, thank you so much for the help!!!

Hello everybody,
I have a question about the T-clasp on some of the items. Is this safe? I am afraid that the "T" will fall off the eyelet. Or is this secured in some way?

The toggle clasp used on the standard Chaîne D'Ancre bracelets is generally safe even though there is no secondary mechanism to secure the toggle clasp. The toggle bar is quite large (length and thickness) relative to the round clasp opening so it takes some effort to open/close the bracelet. The risk increases if the bracelet is too loose for your wrist. With more slack/play in the bracelet, the toggle bar could get oriented such that it could pull through the clasp opening.

I've never had an issue with my PM, MM and GM bracelets because they fit my wrist well. I did have one incident with my TGM bracelet. Because the bracelet has very large links, it fits looser on my wrist than the other sizes. i was lying in bed with my wrist and bracelet on the bed. The bracelet was slack and somehow it worked itself open from the play in the bracelet. I've never had an issue with the same bracelet when wearing it about the house or outside.

I hope this helps.

This happened to me with a Tiffany toggle bracelet. Fortunately I was in the car, so I didn’t lose it.

It happened to me with one of my 2 GM's, one was looser than the other and it came undone twice: luckily I was at home both times, but if I had been out I would have lost it! I took it to Hermès and had one link taken out, no problems since!

Thank you very much!

I kinda fell in love with this Chaine d'Ancre, but now I think this is most risky style :(

Now I'm confused

I have the Chaine d'Ancre pendant and love it. HOWEVER, Since buying it in February I have twice found it unlinked around my neck. I do not wear a safety chain with it, but check it frequently. I love Chaine d'Ancre but this will be my last purchase with the toggle clasp.

Several years ago I had a Farandole bracelet with a toggle clasp, which I absolutely loved. Sadly, it came unlinked on the way to work without my noticing, and I never saw it again. I took a second chance with the toggle pendant, but never again. I was heartbroken to lose that bracelet.

Maybe earrings with secure posts next. ;)

Maybe worth trying it in the store to get a feeling for it. I’m not even sure how it could get unlinked except when frequently rubbing against something with the part where the toggle is. The large pendant on the end of the necklace is quite heavy and builds some “tension“ so all elements stay in place (I am sorry if this doesn’t make sense, would even have problems describing it in my mother tongue). I really need to fiddle with the toggle to close the necklace sometimes. Just go and see for yourself :) I‘ve had the same experience as others with the classic version‘s bracelet.
