Hi,

I've just brought a second hand Rocco bag in a Camel colour which is in the standard AW leather (pebbled look). It's definitely from many seasons ago as there is no strap.

The bag is in really good condition albeit a couple of light denim marks which buyer said would come off with a good leather cleaner.

Does anyone know what type of leather protector and cleaner I should be using? I've read a couple of comments and have noticed that 'Apple Brand' seems to be commonly used, would this be the best bearing in mind the bag is a 'lighter colour'.

I have a Mulberry Alexa in a light brown and use collonil leather gel but obviously do not want to use this on my Rocco in case there is a significant colour change!

Thanks in advance.
Hi! I use the brand 'bama' for leather care. I use the foam cleaner to remove marks and 'gel' to gloss up my 'dry' toffee coloured AW Marion to prevent future stains. The denim/black leggings transfer black stains so easily so these two products have been a lifesaver! Bama is stocked in NilssonShoes in Sweden but I believe it's worldwide and can be under a diff name. If anyone needs great leather care - go with this brand!! The foam is absolutely amazing with removing stains on leather!!

I have read as many care threads as I could find multiple times and I cannot find a definitive answer as to whether it is good or bad to treat the pebbled lambskin on the rocco bags. I have a second hand one arriving tomorrow and I like to condition them when they're pre-owned to freshen them up but I'm concerned having seen nobody categorically say yes this is a good idea. I've seen people say that the pebbled leather will disintegrate if I use Collonil but does anybody KNOW? Have any of you used a conditioner on your own bag?

It's the forest colour and I'm not worried about darkening the leather at all I just want to know I wont damage it

Thanks in advance

Hi

I have heard people saying AW fixed the rocco piping problem with their newer Rocco bag.

I just got my first Rocco today, here are my bag's edge pictures.

Any girls here can help me look at these pictures and tell me if its older version or the newer one?

Thanks!

I emailed AW customer service tonight to see if they know who can do repairs on the bag's piping. I'm not even trying to get it done for free. I just want it done.
Anyone have any success getting their piping repaired anywhere?

I emailed them twice about piping issue they never get back to me. Im not really happy about their customer service.

I believe it's the new piping. Did you get it recently / new?

Yes, I ordered last Friday and got it yesterday. Have been worrying that this might be the older version. I was just looking at the piping, does not feel as hard as plastic and if I press with my finger nail I can see the mark slightly on it.

Should I be worrying about this?

Has anyone had any problems with the leather wearing badly on their AW bags? I've only been using my Marti part time for 6months and the leather is wearing horribly :( ImageUploadedByPurseForum1400287300.452279.jpg

This is only 1 patch as well. I'm really disappointed because I paid quite a bit for that bag!!

This is so sad!! What leather is this? Is it lambskin? I just got my rocco few days ago I sure hope mine wont be like this after 6 months.

Try to contact AW or the store u brought from.

Good luck!

Yep, it's lambskin. I purchased it from theoutnet about a year ago, but I didn't start using until 6 months ago so I'm not sure if they'll do anything cause it's been so long since I purchased it :(

AW has one year warranty maybe try them, but as far as I know they are not very good at customer service, be prepared they will give you A hard time. :(

Now I start to worry about my Rocco bag since its also lambskin leather!

HOPE MY BAG WILL HOLD UP GOOD! BLESS MYSELF!
