For an update guys. I have applied Apple conditioner and then Apple garde rain & stain repellent on my Lilac rocco. It work great. here some pic after I done the job. it does not change the color nor damage the rose gold hardware at all. Very happy with the result. Thank you purse forum for good review and information.
ps. I also tried to run the tap water on my bag and the water just run off my rocco complete, no stain nothing at all.![]()
I'm curious. Is this thing ever happened to rockie cause I'm planning to get one. TIA
A little off topic here, but is there a hint of yellow on the Birchwood color or more tan/beige/light brown? Thanks!hi I just purchased a rocco in birchwood (tan/beige) color and I was just wondering is there any way for me to protect the leather because it's lambskin and I know forsure it'll get stained by water and get color transfer etc. if anyone knows of any ways to try and prevent that would be soooo helpful!
Thanks in advance! xxxx
If you buy one of the new bags they have fixed the piping issue (the bags don't have the rolled piping at all any more). I believe all of them made within the past year have the improved edging.
I've had the pleasure of owning both bags and I felt that my Rockie was a little better than the Rocco in quality.Any one has quality problem with Rockie? I know old generation of Rocco has the piping problem, but it seems to be corrected and improved in new generation. I am waiting for my black Rockie with rose gold hardware, wondering if it is of better quality since it came out quite lately.
thanks for reply. May I know how do you treat you rockie? I am wondering if three layers of waterproof, conditioner, and edge koter are too much.I've had the pleasure of owning both bags and I felt that my Rockie was a little better than the Rocco in quality.
i use the apple garde rain and stain repellent on my roccos. from my previous expresson to my black iridescent now, which is kind of a matte leather. should be fine on light colors. i think light colors especially have to be stainproofed.Hi,
I've just brought a second hand Rocco bag in a Camel colour which is in the standard AW leather (pebbled look). It's definitely from many seasons ago as there is no strap.
The bag is in really good condition albeit a couple of light denim marks which buyer said would come off with a good leather cleaner.
Does anyone know what type of leather protector and cleaner I should be using? I've read a couple of comments and have noticed that 'Apple Brand' seems to be commonly used, would this be the best bearing in mind the bag is a 'lighter colour'.
I have a Mulberry Alexa in a light brown and use collonil leather gel but obviously do not want to use this on my Rocco in case there is a significant colour change!
Thanks in advance.
Hi! I'm new here and need your advice! Considering buying to Rocco in Pony Hair but I was wondering if it's as slouchy looking as the normal pebbled leather ones (slouchy would be preferable, not to keen on it looking super structured). Also, wondering how well it's held up from normal use. I've heard here that the A Wang pony hair bags develop bald spots over time. Debating between the pebbled leather and the pony hair and desperately need some advice! Thanks for your help, ladies!I have the Rocco Pony hair bag and some of the pony hair is rubbing off...what do I do??? Will AW fix it?

I just ordered a navy nubuck rocco off theoutnet.com - I'm terrified it may have the same issues! My tangerine ons from the summer is holding up well though. Should I keep or return the nubuck - is it a nightmare waiting to happen!?
