ok, nevermind. mary at 49 sq mi just weighed one for me. 3.4 lbs. yowza! that sucker is heavy.

Yes wilsons will help with color transfer. It depends on what the interior is made of. If the interior is leather then yes wilson's is awesome. If it's canvas or cotton I use scotch guard. I normally wrap the leather areas in ribbon or fabric as to not scotch guard the leather then spray the cotton/canvas.

If your wilson-ing the clingy I would do inside and out. I would do the interior first and keep it open. use a capped pen to hold it open. Wait 24 hours then do the exterior. Try not to get wilsons on the velvety interior parts. A cut up index card works well for that but don't use the same card twice.

Thanks for the fast reply. I will look into the wilsons for the clingy because there is absolutely no chance that I will scotch guard the interiors of my LV bags. I also wanted to thank everybody for all of the links that have been posted in all of the threads. I found one grass green clingy available from David's Shoes, so I snapped it up as quickly as i could. LOL.

Lelliebunny- I *gasp* scotchguarded both my LV neverfull & Goyard St. Louis on the interior. I know sacrilegious of me but the light interiors really made me nervous.

So Squares how you feeling the new collection?

I'm a little bummed that the flashy camera bag isn't available in olive drab yet. I'm going to have to wait to get it until that color comes out. I'm really loving the tongue tied small crossbody. It's on my list of must haves. I don't know what color I want yet. I would love that one in olive drab too.

I really wish 49 would put up pictures of the interiors of all the bags and wallets. I'd love to see the interior deference between the baby Keychain wallet & the needy.

The new necklaces are amazing looking. I wish they had more leather on them but as far as necklaces go they are pretty cool. I'm loving the balboa street necklace a lot.

no, not sacrilegious at all. just brave. :) i'm paranoid about spraying scotchgard on something and having it seep in between the lining and the canvas and destroy it. LOL.

Hi everybody! My clingy arrived, and I love it! I have already applied the wilsons tlc. :D. The only potential problem that I see is with the card slots. Does the leather get destroyed on the top of the slots from pulling the cards in and out?

India- I've had a couple of bal bags but what I have left in bal bags are all suede. 49 lambskin vs 49 lambskin for some reason 49 lambskin is way heavier than bal LS. it might have something to do with the difference in linings and backings. The leathers are equally as soft. Both are very pettable. 49 LS has bigger pebbling than Bal LS. I took some crappy iphone photos of my 49 sq mi flirt vs my Bal Moutarde Money Wallet. I hope they are helpful.

Lu, so your Bal is lambskin, as opposed to goatskin? I thought Bal was either goatskin or calf, depending.

So basically the leather is the same, good to know - I mean, my Clingys' leather looks like the Bal Money leather ...
