I've been searching the purse forum to find info about a particular 49 sq mi bag and realized that all the info and pictures of 49 sq mi bags are scattered across the purse forum. I thought would could have a single thread to chat about old bags/ new bags/ share photos/ where to shop, etc.

They sell them at von maur and thru online retailers and they have the most fab. soft lambskin I've ever felt! My DH actually uses my backstabber as a pillow it's so soft.

My HH Gaza is lambskin (I think) and I just adore the texture... I just might invest in 49 Sq. Mile next..

They do have fun names.
Pushover, basketcase.... describes me to a tee LOL

Seriously the best lambskin ever and on most of the bags I have they keep the raw edge details.

omg that calf hair wallet, that smooshy lambskin, and the ability to support a local company...Thanks for the video lulu! The bags just come to life in it! Additional bonus: when I told my boyfriend the name of the company, he immediately asked if it was in SF, because SF is 49 square miles. He actually told me I should get one! (not that I need approval, but it's nice you know)
