Yep It's a coated canvas that is just barely a bit shiny. I love this line and wish I could have gotten a crossbody too.

I do have quite a few and should probably do a general closet cleaning.

I have only owned Clingys...so I decided to purchase the Santa Cruz Satchel in chestnut. I figured that I would start with a sale bag and work my way up to a full-priced Mendocino Satchel.

I've seen the chit chat in person but don't have one. All of the leathers are gorgeous especially the metallic. It's not too heavy. I think I could fit my fingers through the strap but probably wouldn't wear over the wrist.

Ah, there you are! Thanks for the insight. I wasn't too worried about the "wrist" strap, as I generally only hook that through my fingers anyway, using it more as a 'handle'.

I wonder if it holds an iPhone 6... off to measure...

You should email 49 sq mi. I'm sure someone could try it for you. I know the Galaxy s4 fits because I popped mine in the last time I was in the store. Is the 6 the big one? That might need a Clingy.

Wow, Mary was quick getting back to me - her response:

The regular iPhone fits – nothing larger than that. Also, it won’t fit if it has a case attached to it. It was designed before these big phones came into being.
