Comments: Please help me authenticate. Seller has a store in Paris and searches have shown store to be pretty legit. Here is the direct link to the store and same bag.

The pics will probably be deemed too small or not enough pictures to authenticate. Your best bet is to request more pictures and repost

According to the first post, these are the requested pictured necessary for authentication

- Front view of bag
- Zipper & its end
- Hardware
- Craftsman stamp on strap
- Hermes stamp + Top stitching
- Clear picture of the interior lining
- Base of the handles
- Side view of the strap guides

These are poor pictures and the inconsistencies in the leather, date stamp, etc., are troubling. The bag is definitely not courcheval and yes, her date info is wrong. If you are seriously interested, ask the seller for sharp pics of relevant areas.

There are too many inconsistencies for my comfort level. Not much feedback. Have you considered looking via one of the established sellers/resellers? Much safer bet.

Authenticity is not questioned with this seller.

French sellers usually over quote condition (don't ask me why)...
This bag is obviously old/vinatge , meanning the leather can have some dryness that the seller will call normal for its age...

Hey newbie! I have totally bought from iluvslux before and her bags are authentic. I actually bought a red vermilion from her and encouraged her to move her operations to eBay. I am looking for other sellers of Hermes, but she is def a reputable seller. Just a little background to help you in the process.

I am sorry to disagree here, but I would not give the thumbs up to this seller, owing to the fact that they are unable to show proper details of their listings and have no track record with luxury goods, sorry, I believe to call someone a "reputable seller" involves a much more proven history of authentic merchandise. Their listings to date have been highly suspicious and the chevre birkin was not authentic and removed by ebay.

I beg to differ. This post concerns me because no one should approach iluvslux's auctions with even a shred of confidence. I have seen nothing that convinces me. The images are horribly insufficient. The bags often look bad.

Looking at iluvslux, I get the typical picture of a new seller with very questionable goods.

The 20 feedback... (Was it Pepper who said she had a minimum feedback "confidence" number--for me it is my weight!!) Then there are the goods--ab-building systems for men, hair straighteners, electronics--and the sudden emergence of some VERY suspicious birkins. Did any of you see the sorry "lizard one that just sold? What IS it?

No...I found myself wondering about why someone would promote this kind of seller with such certainty.

Gentle readers--do not take the comments of one new member as a green light to buy from iluvslux.
