Bomb,

I am not an authenticator, but I can see that the seller has provided you with pictures of two different bags. That means the seller could send you bag 1 (authentic?), bag 2 (authentic?), or bag 3 (you won't see it until you receive it - probably fake). You don't know which bag you will actually receive (the condition or authenticity).

I will say what the authenticators are trying very politely to say... DO NOT PURCHASE THE BAG! Find a bag from our list of reputable sellers. Don't take the risk - go with a sure thing. Good luck!

Just to add..

Would this seller chocolate_crocodile be the same as the seller listed below? Name is soo similar! #4 in the AVOID list too!

I bought it from a reseller, who assured me she was there when it was purchased at Hermes. She dates it to the 90s, but could not remember when exactly. The blind stamping is much harder to see than on the black box kelly I bought at Hermes myself 2 years ago. the dimensions seem right to me. I hope it's real as I already bought it. Here are my photos. thank you!

cyber drinks to all the great authenticators--what an interesting read today's posts have been. i hope this isn't clogging the thread, but y'all have the patience of saints and i for one am deeply appreciative of your efforts :smile1:

I think the bag looks authentic and yes, it looks like box. But it is also very expensive for what it is and the seller should have shown more pics of the interior, especially given the signs of verdigris on the zipper, which make me think this bag was stored somewhere humid. I am also concerned that stickers appear to be on the bag (that's a LONG time to have stickers on hardware) and the corners look to me like the bag has been used and shined up with something.

Personally, I would pass.

After looking at the bag again, I noticed that there is a stamp on the plaque. What does this mean? Does it mean that it was an employee purchase like LV having a small circle? I also noticed another listing with the same stamp.

ETA: I think I found my answer after looking at more listings. thank you.

Okay so what I should do is either meet in person to see the actual bag and take pics for you guys to authenticate it or just run or the hills as fast as possible. Thanks for the advice and I will certainly checkout that link you sent. Thank you so much for your help.

I wonder why you are not concerned that they are using dressedtokill's photo account??? I sure would want to know that.

please use the format, tell us the name of the reseller, and post the photos.

Absolutely off topic, but WOW, those sound gorgeous.:nuts: (1 smiley per bag) Sounds like you have a great H collection.

Now going to ":noggin:" myself for junking up this thread.

Seriously, this post is completely off topic. Really, I know.

(I ate peanut butter cups too late, sugar buzz is blocking impulse control.) No excuse but is the reason.

Hi

That HAC does not look authentic to me and is a quick trip down a short road to a place called MISERYVILLE. I'd run now!
