Dear DQ,

Thanks for your comments :) The difficulty with Yahoo Japan is the limitation in the pictures being provided and as I do not speak Japanese, if i do bid, the risk exists that the bag may or may not be authentic.. However, the Japanese auction site does offer a wider variety of choice which makes it attractive to scour for finds.

In any case, thanks much for your help! Appreciate it!

Thank you very much DQ. Sorry to pester what pictures should I ask for? Many Thanks! :smile1:

you're not pestering at all!
i'd like to see a photo of the full zipper, a close-up of the zipper stop (it won't have an H) and an image of the handle that's in focus. (i've gotten pretty conservative lately, but others may be willing to call this without the additional photos.)

Hi Ladies, I am looking to purchase my first hermes bag. Can someone help me to authenticate this please?

Seller: Znat

Comment: Is it good to go? TIA
Hello there! why not try loiking here for reputable sellers and items: http://forum.purseblog.com/hermes-shopping/post-ebay-web-hermes-finds-522893.html

Hope this helps! ;)

DQ,
I'm not sure if you saw, but the seller provided links to 20 additional photos at the bottom.

I've just looked at the photos at the bottom of the listing - I have to say she didn't make it easy as they weren't clickable links - and some were blurry and some had been removed. I am not an authenticator and there are a couple of key photos missing, but I also believe it could be authentic. I would still ask the seller for the pictures listed in the first post in this thread and let one of the experienced authenticators look just to be sure.

Sorry guys, but I am not willing to work that hard for a bag that I suspect is old and scuffed and dry even if authentic. 2k may be too much for it.
It was definitely scuffed up - maybe even some color loss on the corners, but I couldn't tell definitely from the pics. It was also pretty shiny, so makes me think it might be dry and they've tried to moisturize it?
