The fact that the handle was replaced obviously adds to the price. It also makes me wonder about the rest of the bag if the handle was in such sad shape that it needed replacing. I think in the end, it will be a judgment call by you if it is worth it. No way to tell from the pix the feel of the skins. I don't think that lizard has the longevity of croc and for this price, you can get a croc from some of the trusted resellers.

Don't forget to look for fading and/or color change even though this is black.

My thoughts as well. I have croc so found this one interesting and different. Buying a bag up close and personal is preferable to online and new is always the best although not always possible or practical. And yes, a joke can be miscontsrued when it's read as flat text on a computer screen. In my line of work, a sense of humor and thick skin are necessary.

Seller has been discussed, if you do a search. The bag seems authentic but when I compare it to pics of a for sure authentic sac a depeche, there are some subtle things that trouble me. It coiuld just be the angle of the photos. Sorry I can't be more definitive; maybe someone else can be.

Authentic. Kaleidoplace is extremely conservative and I have found her things are even better than described.

Thanks so much for your input - I really like the briefcase, and I did a search on the seller and found no negatives regarding authenticity or service, but I own Kellys and Birkins but not a briefcase so I don't know what to look for. I'll wait and hope to hear from other authenticators before i decide whether to bid.
