I read this thread each day, cheering for someone who's bag is authenticate or being disappointed for someone whose isn't. An ongoing drama. So many beautiful bags.

I'm noticing a trend which has been quietly and subtly addressed, but it hasn't helped. I am being less polite. The condescending, rude, and demanding requests or comments continue on the part of certain people asking for help.

The authenticators, who are providing FREE expert consultation, are offering to help anyone who makes a request.

The people making requests who've done their homework, maybe are Hermes collectors, or may be purchasing their first bag are the ones that deserve to benefit from the attention of the authenticators. Instead, for the authenticators, the thread is often cluttered, sidelined and time wasted by those who've "hopped on the Birkin bus" fad and really hope to get a real deal Birkin for a buck (or two).

These Birkin Bus folks demand when instead they should be requesting, fail to follow the rules of posting when they should at least do enough homework to comply with making it as easy as possible for the authenticators, post many requests as they're hoping to hit the Hermes jackpot on one of their hot searches, and sadly aren't even courteous enough to be polite or civil.

I can not imagine why these authenticators don't burn out and quit or tell some of these rude people exactly what they're thinking. To take advantage of a terrific group of volunteer experts is unfathomable. Personally, I feel that this thread should reflect the needs of the authenticators instead of letting some individuals making inane requests continue to flout civility. People do ease the burden for the authenticators by stepping in. Is there any reason why some requests can't be deleted so no one has to waste their time with frivolous requests or uncivil people?

Thank you authenticators and those who ease the issues in this thread. We appreciate your efforts which make this thread so much a part of the total Hermes experience.

bett, thank you so much for your heartwarming and thoughtful post.

I believe this has happened before. When a colon is followed by an "s" without a space separating, that screwy smiley gets inserted instead!
You get :s instead of : s

Yes, this bag was looked at. Please use the correct spelling (stelisema, not telisema) and the info should come up in a search.

Hi girls. I do not log on often and I'm not sure if someone has asked fpr the authentication of this. But please advise if authentic, thanks...

Hi girls...i'm the seller on ebay selling the 32 rigid kelly and the 35 rose birkin that was removed...I hate to break to you girls but your wrong....they are authentic, authentic, authentic...i'm a stylist in LA, and personally know, 100%, that these bags came from the Hermes stores, South Coast Plaza and Boston Hermes...i'm not sure on what grounds your making these assumptions that these bags (specifically the 35 Rose since it was taken off of ebay, and I just read that you deemed it fake), but you've ruined it for someone to be able to get a beautiful bag at a price probably below retail...And more importantly i've lost all faith in the people making the calls on what's real and fake...I've used this forum to help me in deciding what bags to purchase, but now knowing that i'm selling 2 authentic bags and your refuting (birkin) them, I don't trust anything that's being written in this forum...Such a shame I really trusted what was started hear. The advice I give to all who are looking to purchase a birkin or any other Hermes...go to the stores and wait for a bag..Unless you purchase it yourself you'll never know. Because certainly the authenticators here do not know what they are talking about!

Hello All,
I will admit that I do NOT know Hermes at all and I purchased this wallet yesterday for $20.00. So yes, it is probably fake-but I want to resell it and I don't want to mislead a buyer in any way. PLEASE any feedback would be awesome!

It has the box, sack, and no receipt....so here are the pics.

In future, please post accessories in the proper thread. However, this is not authentic.

The only bag of yours I recall seeing here was your 40 birkin - which people felt was authentic. I also recall you thanking the people who post on this thread last fall.

And having just looked at the pictures of the kelly, no offense, but there just aren't enough pictures there. If I was considering buying this on Ebay, I would want to see more detail than a long shot of the bag and a receipt.

As you can no doubt appreciate, it's a lot of money and people want as much information as possible. Your auction just doesn't have much in the way of visuals, certainly not enough to make a proper determination, in my opinion.
