The only bag of yours I recall seeing here was your 40 birkin - which people felt was authentic. I also recall you thanking the people who post on this thread last fall.

And having just looked at the pictures of the kelly, no offense, but there just aren't enough pictures there. If I was considering buying this on Ebay, I would want to see more detail than a long shot of the bag and a receipt.

As you can no doubt appreciate, it's a lot of money and people want as much information as possible. Your auction just doesn't have much in the way of visuals, certainly not enough to make a proper determination, in my opinion.

I can absolutely appreciate what you are saying and yes up to this point i've had, what I thought, good luck...But, when my listings are taken down because of being "fake" when they are not, that's when I have a problem...My birkin listing had the maximum number of photos, all the of the accessories including the original box and receipt. What else could you possibly need? And because anyone can make a complaint against me with ebay I have no re-course...so yes TPF has helped me in the past but how can I trust what I'm getting is true when i'm selling authentic and being told it's not...

The kelly is still up. I never saw the birkin....there are a lot of fake RD birkins out there, but since I did not see it please let me address the kelly listing.. As far as I can tell, the only comments about the kelly were related to the lack of pictures.

There are simply not enough photos here. Receipts can and are constantly faked and available for purchase from many sources overseas. I am not saying that this is the case with your bag, but the photos are just not enough to state that the bag is authentic, or even anything about condition, leather, etc.

I had to blow up the picture to be certain that the bag was sellier. If you can provide more pictures here, we are happy to look at them. You can attach up to 5 in each post, using the
insertimage.gif
icon.

That will at least address the matter of the kelly.

Here is an auction from sandia exchange showing the pictures that are needed...

Cobalt blu, I appreciate your help...Yes I agree that I didn't post enough pictures. I was more concerned about getting the Birkin right that I didn't take enough pics of the Kelly. It's ironic that I did everything right with the Birkin and that was the one that was taken down. My auction expires tomorrow night, my client has possession of her bag, and I will not be able to get in contact with her until tomorrow afternoon. I will email her and have her send me more pictures and hopefully we can put this to rest.

But I do have one complaint of one of your members...I don't appreciate a certain member's comment "All I can say about the above authentication requests is that they just prove my theory that seller's with wise as* names have fake bag about 99.9% of the time."

Sorry that my wise as* name offends her, but honestly who is she to judge...thanks again Cobalt Blu.

Comments: Hi ladies, I was wondering whether anyone would be kind enough to authenticate this from Yahoo Japan auction listing site? I dont think it is possible to request for more pictures as I dont speak Japanese. Appreciate and thanks in advance for the time taken :)
It is very hard to tell anything from those pictures, as they are really small.
My global feeling is that the bag is authentic, but it is not even an opinion, just a feeling, YKWIM?

I don't speak japanese neither, so helping you here is very hard.

Please authenticate, and thank you in advance!

Item: Black Box 20cm Kelly
Item Listing #: none
Seller: none
Link: please see photos
Comments: I have owned this bag for a couple of years, looking back through some of the old threads I am a little worried about the stamp on the strap plate, and the little clips on the shoulder strap.

No one here posted that your birkin was fake. And what you wrote is absolutely true - anyone can make a complaint to Ebay via the report function on every auction. There is no magic link between PF and Ebay.

item: brown deerskin Massai
seller: Portero
item #: 2-11649-104271
link: http://portero.com/hermes-brown-deerskin-massai-pm-bag.html
comments: I am assuming that this is authentic b/c it is from Portero (I know the pictures are not much and massais are hard to authenticate), but I am curious about the leather. Deerskin? Does Hermes make that? Does it have another name? Thanks to our wonderful, knowledgeable authenticators!

Years ago H made Massais in deerskin. They stopped because the skins are fragile. I remember reading somewhere on this forum that one reason H doesn't do deerskin is because they couldn't recondition it. I can't for the life of me remember where I read it, but I researched it when I was considering a deerskin Massai off eBay back in 2007, maybe?

JMHO, but for the price, you can find other options unless this is the only one that makes your heart sing.

Thanks so much, GGA! That's really helpful! I will keep looking, as you suggest.
