Once again, I would really like to ask for anyone posting a bag for authentication to please put in ALL pertinent information about the bag.

Please do NOT say it is a private sale when the bag is actually available on a web site somewhere.

It's incredibly frustrating to spend the time on "private sale" requests only to find out the bag comes from Craig's List, Bonanzle, or auction sites from Europe, Asia or Russia, blogs or other dubious sites.

Could you please have a look at this..........

Item Name: Graphite Epsom 30cm Birkin PHW Year F
Seller: Cute_Kloset (Secondhand shop in Bangkok)
Link: http://www.weloveshopping.com/template/e1/showproduct1.php?pid=14799577&shopid=3875
Comment: One of my cousins is thinking of buying this, she can go and have a look at the bag IRL, but would like to get some expert advice from any authenticators here first....

Regarding the pictures on the website, you can actually click on one of the pictures, then the new window opens up, then you can do Zoom in and out on each pictures.......TIA..........

This Hermes comes from a person who's grandmother passed away and left it to him in a will. We do not know the history of it, but she was very wealthy and owned other Hermes and a Balenciaga handbag. The 5 gold accessory pieces on the front are not metal. We would like to know if it is authentic, the name and era for this bag if possible. He did take it to a Hermes store in Costa Mesa CA and they said it was real, but they are not allowed to write up COA's.

Thank you,
Michael

How cool! It does look like it could be authentic and the metal pieces are the medor designed metal pieces that you can find on watches, bracelets and as scarf decorative pieces.

I'll make it a hat trick:graucho:

Oops, my apologies to linda's stuff!

I think the stitching on the inside zipper threw me off, but I looked at other pics of authentic bags after I posted this, and saw that it's the same on those, as well. Just learning..:s

Linda may not always be correct in the type of leather used or the size of the bag, but I don't recall ever seeing a fake for sale in any of her auctions.

Hello, I'm the owner of the French Blue Sac a Depeche in question here.

I purchased it from Sandia Exchange on July 13, 2009 and kept a copy of my completed ebay listing, showing my paypal payment amount, the item number, the seller and the first three pages of Sandia's description and pictures. The small dent in the leather to the right of the lock on the briefcase being authenticated is also present on my completed sale from Sandia, and is discussed by her in the listing.

I didn't know enough to have it authenticated here before I bought it. I was brand new to Hermes bags and trusted, and still do, that Sandia sells authentic bags. I do understand that you are looking at the bag, and not just where it came from.

I'm more than happy to provide any additional pictures that anyone might like to see and can definitely say that I am a very amateur photographer indeed! I hope my lack of skills has not led to confusion. Thanks very much for your time and all of your hard work.
