Thanks for your response - do you think it can be saved?


Saved in what way. Dipping it in a can of black paint kind of save? The bag has had it. It you go to the Vintage Nightmare thread, DocRide has "saved" a bag that was in terrible shape. You can see what she did. After a treatment like that, the bag is no longer considered a true Hermes bag and they would never help you with it. If your get a bag for practically nothing, it could be fun to try to restore with extreme means. That takes, time, effort, imagination and skill. Experience is a must.

DO NOT expect Hermes to do anything to make this bag look better. It is too far gone. That is providing it is authentic in any event, and I did say that more pix were needed.

Thanks - I did think it was probably on its last legs but thought I'd at least check out authenticity.
