Thanks for your response - do you think it can be saved?
Sorry for chipping in. The bag is still in one piece, and per Docride's recipe it can be improved quite a lot with various good leather-care products, and could live on for another good couple of years. It will still look like a a beaten-up old bag, but I personally like that look very much (suits me fine, I'm still a sort of punk... in a very tailored way, LOL). I think a bag can be used as long as it holds one's stuff / as long as one can pull it off. Just my opinion. ;)
(I mean if it's authentic to begin with, and if the price stays low of course...)

I don't disagree that improvements can be made, but the gaping hole in that bottom corner is the deal-breaker for me.

:hugs:
Hoy! I  your avatar, can you show a bigger pic pretty please?

Hi Lovely64,

I think the best thing is to first take pictures, post them on this forum, wait for your approval (or disapproval) and then buy it, unless I can be absolutely sure if she shows me a proof of purchase or authentication certificate..but even that is not a definite proof, as I gather from this forum ;o)

Well, no harm in having a look at it is there... and you might win the Nobel prize once, never say never!

I keep trying to look away from this thread but it's like rubbernecking on the highway. THE BAG IS FAKE. THEY SAY THINGS ARE TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE FOR A REASON. I appreciate that you want to believe the best in everyone and santa and moonbeams and so forth, but please don't go through with this deal. I can promise you it will not turn out well for you.

WHERE???!!! (you mean us?)

Eep, no:hugs:! Just happy other people love them too!

Ita with MSC 1111. EM 78, the authenticators on this forum have seen thousands of bags and have heard almost every scam and have no hidden agenda except to share their love of the brand and protect those of us who know (a lot) less from losing our heads.

Hi all,
I hope some of you are online tonight because I need your help! I just found out that a bag I purchased through ebay was fake--Hermes won't work on it and said it was not an Hermes bag. What do I do first, contact the seller or report to Paypal and Ebay? I paid through Paypal.
:(
