Thank you Grace Kelly. Sorry to have bothered- I just wanted to be certain. Last fall I bought a CDC bracelet that was authentic on the ebay photos, but what the seller sent me was a fake. I didn't realize it until I took it into Hermes for a shining. FAKE. It was heartbreaking, and I never want it to happen to me (or anyone else) again.

So I'll enjoy my Evelyne now. Thank you to everyone.

This auction has ended. But the seller said buyer didn't pay. My mom is thinking to get it. Could anyone please authenticate this bag for me?

The bag looks authentic. There appears to be discoloration on the leather and I don't know if it is a reflection or what. Please go over that with the seller.

RE the nonpaying bidder, this scenario has played out before with this seller. Proceed with caution.

Can u point out which part looks discoloration? I will go ask the seller :)

Can u suggest if it's safe with this seller. It's an expensive bag. I don't want anything goes wrong.

Oh I am looking at this bag too! I've been looking at BBBs and am looking to acquire one (that or Ardennes). On Kaleidoplace, I've seen none sell for less than $7450 and the year ranged from D - G. On Haute Gallery, they generally were $7000. I'm curious why you guys think this bag is so overpriced? Thanks!

I see discoloration on the front of the bag. Ask for new pix on a white background not on the gold it is on now.
Do a search on the seller name in this thread and the closed thread to read about prior issues. Also search eBay sellers thread.

Better make sure Mom knows the sizing of a 35 sellier. Big bag.

You gonna spend the $$ you gotta do the research!

Age and condition are usually the factors. If money is no object, the decision is yours to make.
