In case anyone was curious how the holiday pendant goes with hammered RG earrings here you go! Happy to send more pics too I took a lot. I’ve been meaning to create a set for these earrings as they were an unplanned purchase, and I wanted to find a necklace to stack with this Trinity so I was excited to see this holiday pendant be offered (It’s actually my first VA pendant I didn’t intend to get one but really love obsidian as a rock in general).
My SA said I’m on the WL for the bracelet, whatever that means?! I have an onyx ring, bracelet and 10 motif set so I said I would only consider a lighter obsidian for contrast and am very happy with it. I like the little striation details too although I assume some may prefer a more clean look?

Your obsidian is also light enough that it is different from your onyx collection. Some people have purposefully chosen darker obsidian to go with their onyx collection. I have not seen these pieces in real life to know how significant these differences are
Yes! I already have a necklace in onyx so I really didn’t want another - and loved the gray/soft tone and glad it’s not as delicate as MOP. I think it’ll stack well with my other piece and tie in the earrings so I feel like I can finally make peace with this little challenge I had in my head haha
I didn’t ask to see any others but they told me this was the lightest one they’ve seen (but they also may have said that knowing that I specifically asked for a light one)

I don’t think it’s too late. My offer was Nov 1 and I was offered last year too I can’t specifically remember when but I think it was very early on and they wouldn’t let me take pics (I declined it though)
I don't think it's too late! I wanted one since day 1 as well and was told it's almost impossible. I was at the store yesterday and my SA asked if i was still interested as apparently they have a 2nd wave of shipment coming and she can potentially get one *fingers cross
I also wanted to ask, is the lighter grey more popular than the darker? I don't want it to look like mother of pearl lol
I think worth popping in and asking.. I was on vacation in the HK market and the sa also said it wasn't too hard to get in this year as they're sending more out to store... Test your luck 🤞
I don't think it's more competitive in NYC, or it's a competition at all for HP. They just haven't receive more shipment yet and from what I've been told at the NYC boutique, they've received a surprisingly small batch on launch date this year compare to last few years. With that said, they're expecting more shipments in the upcoming months (2nd batch this month). You should let the SA know and he/she can add you to the list the submit to HQ so they can have more pieces allocated to the location.
I don’t think it’s too late. For last year’s HP people were still getting offers through Q1 of the year. VCA tried to keep it more exclusive but ended up with more stock so they were still selling it through March and April if I recall correctly. I believe anyone who really wants one should be able to get one eventually if you work with an SA.
