I just wanted to report that I got offered HP on 10/5 and pick it up on 10/10. My friend who is with me that day asked to have 2023 HP but was declined. She has purchased other VCA pieces before but never HP. She asked to be put on waitlist for this year and next year, but SA told her all the HP are allocated by cooperate. Cooperate will set its own list before sent out HP to store. This year Dallas store has gotten 10 HP. I don’t know if there is going to be tier 2 or 3? Sorry, I forgot to ask. I didn’t get offered rare and exceptional items, i.e. rock crystal, pietersite, turquoise……. SA said those are also offered to people who are listed by cooperate as well.

I got offered and bought the HP (was told my name was on the list sent by head office) but no luck with pietersite, as it’s apparently offered only to VIPs. I would be interested to know what level of spend qualifies as VIP (not that I consider myself one, but bought pieces consistently every year or two)

I don't have a strong/long standing profile in the US but my SA told me that since I've been offered HP last year, I should be on the HQ list for one of the upcoming batches. He didn't give me a specific date but I was told that should be hearing from him around November for the HP. There will be more to come and I'm quite sure your friend would get one, just gotta wait till the hype dies down and when the boutiques have several sitting around I'm sure the SA's will start reaching out. This happens every year. The rare pieces are definitely for VVIP's only and they started reaching out to the specific clients on the preorder back in September iirc. One of my friends got offered the rock crystal but couldn't get the pietersite as she was told that the boutique only received one set of it, and only 3 rock crystals and nobody gotten to see or touch the turquoise/pave piece lol! Definitely very limited quantity.

Congratulations on scoring the HP! I picked up my RG hammered order and my SA surprised me with an HP offer so I went home with 2 birthday gifts!

(Friendly correction, and it could be that English is not your first language- the word is “corporate,” “cooperate” means something else)

There is only one HP for me to choose from. For those who have seen multiple silver obsidian in person, what are the variations? I’ve seen some nice texture on the silver obsidian on this forum and wonder if it’s just different angles of the picture taken? The HP I was offered was pretty flat, seems to be a darker color, and not much shimmer. TIA

What do you all think of pairing the HP with vintage Alhambra earrings in onyx? I got offered the HP over phone and paid to secure it…as I don’t live near my VCA boutique I’ve asked my SA to pick a darker shade for me. I already have the pendant in gray MOP, and now the silver obsidian HP so I don’t think I’ll be getting the onyx pendant to match my earrings

How about getting a pair of rose gold hammered earrings to match the grey MOP and HP :graucho:
