Question of the day is: can I take a shower in it? My SA say no, also no swimming in it - is it really so? Obsidian isn’t Such a weak stone I’d think… what’s your take on showering in HPs? I wouldn’t dare to shower in my 10s but taking HP on and off seems like a lot of work as I have long nails :(

My SA said no showering, as well. I'm lazy to take my jewelry off but I don't want to damage it so I'm not going to shower in it.

I went to see the HP in person, it was really interesting. Thankfully my lovely SA had three for me to pick from. One I quickly discarded because the texture was quite uneven and it bothered me. Between the remaining two one had this silver sheen in some angles and was dark grey in (most) other angles, whilst the other was just dark grey in all angles without much difference.
To be fair from the majority of angles both looked quite dark grey (although with a warm undertone). I picked the one with some silver sheen as a more interesting one. Generally the pendant is quite dark but the rose gold beading and the diamond offset it beautifully and I think it would look amazing with dark outfits, perfect for fall/winter.
To anyone who can visit the boutique to view some options in person I would highly recommend it - I would have probably declined two others if I didn’t get to see the third one with wonderful silver sheen and beautiful texture!

Mine is always grey - medium gray that reflects/shines in the light. It is more of a cool toned grey, but the RG really warms it up, so overall it definitely feels like it has a warm presence.

It also feels like a warmer toned gray than the GMOP (which I didn’t love on me actually). The GMOP has flashes of green,etc that changes the vibe.

No, it’s not true for Hermes neither. You can see a lot of luxury YouTubers telling the history when and what they declined certain quota bag and then get offer other in a short period of time.

I think so too! I guess that after they tried to market last year’s HP as being “exclusive” to VIP’s, their revenue must have dropped, since not everyone who was offered it wanted it and ppl who wanted it, weren’t offered one. This year, I was offered the HP on launch day and I’m by no means VIP…
VCA should stop copying the “Hermès” game. Let whoever want to buy the HP buy. It would be a win-win for both parties.

I think your total spend and/or if you've purchased HP in the past can be a factor. So far the availability of the HP seems quite sporadic. I've heard from sources in 4 different regions that they're either quite elusive or only offered to a few clients with purchase history, to several locations where they have 5-6 HP in stock to choose from.

My SA texted me today for the HP and I rushed to the shop after work today. My sweet SA let me choose from 3. :biggrin: I chose the one which looks marbled / uneven as it looks more interesting. I have it sent for lengthening, can’t wait to get it back and wear it :biggrin:

I am very excited about the HP this year as I haven’t got the grey mother of pearl VA pendant. I want one but haven’t pulled the trigger yet as MOP is delicate.

I didn’t buy much this year… around USD 8k. I think the HP this year should be easier to get than the one last year.
