I already told my SA that I won't be purchasing since it is rose gold (I only buy yellow or white gold)
But, I went to the boutique with my friend over the weekend who was going to purchase this year's HP and when I saw it, I mistook it for onyx. The stone looked pretty dark and I thought it was going to be more like heather grey with lots of sparkles. My friend tried on four different versions of the HP and actually did not purchase it as she didn't love the stone and the color on her. Not sure how the stone reacts in day light but you almost had to flash light on it indoors to see the bit of sparkling.
With this purchase out the window and a recent birkin offer that I declined, I think I may finally take the plunge and get the yellow gold sapphire two butterfly pendant that's been on my wishlist forever.

Was shown a bunch, I didn’t see much of a color variation. I loosened up my ban on rose gold in the end
I was actually offered one this year (yay!) but didn't think I would wear it much, so I passed. It is a cool-looking combination but doesn't really fit with my other pieces.
Which one did you ended up choosing? All of the shades looks kinda the same to me except the middle one (looks darker than the rest). I think I would’ve chosen that one based on the picture.
Is this the darker or lighter shade in real life? This color looks absolutely beautiful and such a chameleon under different lighting.
Chose the one in the middle. Truthfully, whatever color variation you are seeing in other photos / videos appears to be largely due to lighting + angles. They all look more or less the same shade of grey irl. I do note that some are slightly more flatter than others but colorwise there is no starking ‘light grey vs dark grey’ (atleast not among the 5 I was shown)
