Oh. My. Gawd.

Remember I accepted a low offer on my Dior tote? I always am VERY careful to accurately show the conditions of my bags along with giving a detailed description. I also say to ask me all questions BEFORE buying as all sales are final.

Well after the (new / no feedback) buyer paid and I packaged the bag to ship tomorrow, they sent me a message asking about the condition of the bag. :annoyed:

So I just cancelled the sale and gave them their money back. This smells of a transaction that will go wrong. I can see them claiming they verified the condition and I sent them something else. Then they send me a box of old underwear back when they open a case. Nope. Not doing it.
I am soooo glad I only have 3 more bags to sell. Everything left in my closet it looking mighty good now. Lol!!

I am surprised you have that many!

So my mom has been receiving my eBay bag returns . The red Dior I sold myself on auction and ended up getting more that way than with eBay Authenticate (so I've tested that thoroughly and $1 auction trumps eBay Authenticate, so take note ladies!), But two other bags my mom received she said she LOVES and insisted she buy them from me for what I would hope to get for them from eBay. I can't figure out if she's just trying to be nice, wants to never go to the post office again, or genuinely fell in love with the bags. But she wouldn't take no for an answer so they are hers now! Hahahaha

At least they are sold. Last year my Mom insisted I don't give her anymore bags till she saw a custom tote I bought for myself that had just come in and she then said the exception would be that bag . Needless to say I wrapped it up and gave it to her for Christmas. Maybe your Mom fell in love them both too. You have very good taste.

My Dad gave me a hundred dollars to buy myself a Christmas gift. Yesterday I came across an Mk bag the mercer pebbled leather crossbody. I was eyeing it for a while but I had gone away from this brand. Then I saw it on a crazy sale and they had one left with silver hardware so I was bad and jumped on it. It is wrapped and ready but kind of wish I could use it to go to the dentist today. I won't bring any of my other bags there.

In and out have cancelled each other out. [emoji3]
True it is just a massive amount of movement this year. I finally am letting many things go that are not holding their value but no longer work for me and have replaced them with things that do. Some bags were over ten years old and barely worn or some were gifts that were expensive but did not work for me but I felt guilty getting rid of them. It is painful sometimes watching how cheaply they are being sold but at the same time a relief. Knowing they will finally get some love makes it easier though.

I totally get this! Lots of movement for me too, but I think for the better. [emoji3]

I have counted the bags I am receiving for the holidays. Not the best stats but they are bags I know I will wear. I still have ten more at the consignment shop.

Good monthly stats and excellent work curating your collection!

I'm saying you've done great!
Massive moment towards bettering things is fantastic!

No real changes in my earlier post about my stats - I did manage to wear 3 of my 4 less expensive purses after all. So - yay!
I also took a look at my yearly stats due to @dcooney4 - I've had a lot of movement this year too. Mostly I said goodbye to some purses I'd had for years and were starting to look that way too… I still have one (a small black Coach) but it's really versatile.
YTD purses in - 16
YTD purses out - 12
4 of the purses that came In are special use/ travel related.
Some of the Outs were purses I purchased this year (and counted in my In list) that didn't work and I immediately turned around and sold (though one was a flat out donation because while I really liked the purse, it smelled terrible ).
I did more donating than selling though - oh well. :flowers:
