So proud of myself. Went to a fair where they had some leather totes that were quite nice and made in Italy and I didn't buy one. The price was great but I just bought the black tote a couple of weeks ago. So I decided to walk away and think about it even though my friend said it was great. I didn't go back because I have enough totes right now. That is a big step for me.

Good job! Sometimes just walking away and telling yourself to think it over is the first step to not buying.

My stats for November:

Bags, 0 in, 0 out.

SLGs, same.

In: one H scarf that will probably be a Christmas gift from DH, and one John Hardy Naga cuff.

Out: Two enamel H bracelets, an H pocket square, 70 cm scarf and maxi twilly, as well as three double tour watch straps to Fashionphile.

Also, two Longchamp leather bags, one Canada Goose jacket, one pair of Frye booties and one J. Crew jacket to local consignment (although those won’t count as outs until they sell).

Well done! I think your consignment stuff should sell quickly. I also don’t count them as out until they sell.

My November stat:

Bag:
In 0
Out 2

I sold one, the Massaccesi Aura in dark blue Verona with dark gunmetal hardware. It’s quite a decision for me, but I rarely reach for it. I prefer my Selene Midi for that leather so after a long time of soul searching, I decide to let it go.
And I gave away one casual messenger nylon bag.

SLG:
In 0
Out 0
I actually planned to get a Tiffany blue SLG from Chanel during my trip, but I don’t t like the color as much IRL so I skip it. I’m happy that I’m safe.

It seems like I’m doing quite ok for the latter part of this year.

Thank you @Pessie and @catsinthebag for your input about aging of Negonda leather. I believe it'd work on gold or on other more vivid colour better because it looks now too greyish, too dull. How do you protect the corners? Can you estimate after how many months the corners would show signs of wear and tear?

Thanks for your sympathy, Spark! Exactly! These are just bags. I almost wanted to tell her she should stop shopping if she had no extra money to spend but I am not sure if her "fun money" has been spent on clubbing or on others secondary things.

I hope you can get your Celine sold eventually. I've the same difficulties selling my Whitney but my main reason to sell is that we have a flagship store next to my office so it's too obvious how much my bag is worth, therefore, I cannot use it as a workhorse as I initially planned. I don't hate my bag so it doesn't feel a burden to sell.

I don't expect absolute perfection either if I'm going to use the bag till it breaks apart but it's different story if I've reselling in my mind at some point. You know how picky buyers can be... Sloppy finnish increases the changes of a buyer thinking the bag she bought is fake or she sees her chance of asking for a huge discount.
Good luck on selling your Whitney. Too bad we can’t do a swap!
