I bit the bullet and bought a proper laptop bag from Montblanc earlier in the year. I love it. If I need to carry my laptop around (I don’t everyday) then I leave my big bag at home, pack my LV PA as a small WOC style bag (although it fits a tonne) and feel happy and put together.Ok I will be the decentor and say get a laptop bag. Any laptop that is in a bag other than a backpack is going to destroy your shoulder if you have other stuff in there as well. I know it may be more convenient to just use one bag but as a person who now has shoulder issues my suggestion is to keep it separate.
Yes, a few things. Over the past week or so:Anyone planning to buy a handbag or anything else during the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales?
I’m not handbag shopping but, I plan to get some boots, work pumps and some home decor like draperies. I’m hoping I don’t run across any handbags on sale that call my name unless it’s a work bag. I wonder if Strathberry has holiday sales?
Love your hair in that new style!View attachment 4260092View attachment 4260093
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for my new Laurel Dasso bag!
Love your tree!Yes, a few things. Over the past week or so:
- Nike trainers
- some holiday beauty gift sets and 2 Advent calendars (must resist...)
- lots of Christmas decorations and pink accessories because I started turning everything pink around the tree ()
- iPad Mini (needed replacing and I got 25% off today!)
- and finally, I spent a Selfridges gift card that my work place gave me for a work anniversary today. I ordered a Montblanc business card holder and card case on 20% off
Here is the pink mania around my tree. Pen, swell bottle, mist diffuser and candle in pink sand were all being used to study (well the candle was just to make me happy!) The table runner in jacquard pink & gold is also brand new. Why am I so match-matchy?!
I’m so happy with my Christmas tree. It has fairy tale charms (a golden key, crystal snowflake, crystal chandelier) and although that feels a bit juvenile, I just find it comforting
And here are the Montblanc presents from the work gift card I just ordered (so happy!)
This tree is so pretty and festive! Love the combination of pink and gold together. And honestly, to me it doesn't look at all juvenile. Just girlie... and what's wrong with that?Yes, a few things. Over the past week or so:

That is a great bag! I’d only seen versions with the Burberry Plaid on the sides which doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll have to take a look at this.Oxblood!
Although I love that shape, I’d buy it in a Burberry banner (my Thistle Grey banner is attached at my desk, and in stock photo). I’m a bit on the fence about the Strathberry metal bar (some angles look chic, but sometimes it looks redundant and contrived to me!) I also feel a bit inundated with Strathberry bags because in the UK every random blogger seems to have been gifted Strathberry bag(s)! How is the brand perception in the US?
OMG! I love this! So much sleeker than my laptop bag. I’m having a bag envy moment.I bit the bullet and bought a proper laptop bag from Montblanc earlier in the year. I love it. Here’s how it looks. I just wouldn’t carry a laptop in a handbag / tote anymore. This is so much more comfortable.
I’m a pink girl myself. So two thumbs up for all the pink!Yes, a few things. Over the past week or so:

I think when Meghan Markle carried it, it started to become popular in the US. I haven't seen one yet.I think Strathberry is not well-known here, BUT, my local Saks just started carrying it, so maybe that’s about to change!
Its also now at Nordstrom. But it seems they only have more stylized options. Some are quite adorned - almost like Gucci.I think Strathberry is not well-known here, BUT, my local Saks just started carrying it, so maybe that’s about to change!
I agree that MM dramatically increased visibility. I can’t recall if I saw them first here on in a fashion oriented article about her.I think when Meghan Markle carried it, it started to become popular in the US. I haven't seen one yet.

In the US (at least the Midwest and South which I frequent) there is almost zero awareness of Strathberry which is why it appeals to me. I prefer to carry bags that don’t have brand recognition / lots of cache to work to keep Jealous Judy’s at bay. Burberry, however is fairly well known. But I don’t think it will trouble people as much as say a Fendi or even a Coach would.

I’ve read that many people use a WOC and a laptop bag. I probably should switch to that. I really like the WOC that Dior had our a little while ago. @Miss_Dawn, don’t you have that one? What is the model called. Can you share another pic? Maybe I can get one resale as I think they’re discontinued.
