2018 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Sale season is approaching, earlier than ever it seems.
Anyone tempted by anything lately, sale or not on sale?

I fell in love with this bag AFTER I saw the inspired Rebecca Minkoff that I also loved. But, like you, the braiding and tassel were elements I knew I needed to love from afar. I can’t think of much that is so opposite my style. Still, they are GORGEOUS bags.This was Bag B. Altuzarra Ghianda Knot small. I'm not sure the fringe accent is my style and if it would bother me as it is just not me. I was not sure of longevity of use, so I decided against it. But this style of hobo (with structure) and the braided leather closure are positive aspects of the bag for me! Plus the price was reasonable even after duties and taxes.
I bought a small, very inexpensive bag. But it’s one I’ve had my eye on and I have nothing like it. I’ll share when it comes in if I decide to keep it.

Sounds great! We need a challenge. I don’t put things on my bags so I’ll just sit and watch the parade.

I saw the cutest bag on sale for next to nothing. Trying not to buy... but it’s so cuuuuuuute and I know I’d wear it.
I’m tempted to return the bag I haven’t even received and just get this one I just saw.

I'm going to try & stay on the sidelines too. Nordstrom half-yearly sale starts on Wednesday, and I'm going to be recuperating from surgery (scheduled tomorrow) so I'm a little worried I'll be tempted to shop because I'll be feeling sorry for myself.
But honestly, there isn't anything I need. I'm bag content, I have all the shoes I need, and my clothing wardrobe is totally on target. I don't like to buy jewelry or coats on line. So instead I'll plan to distract myself with books... I've downloaded a few novels and mysteries on my iPad, and I'll try hard to keep away from the shopping sites.
Also, I'm expecting scarf mail by the end of the week... found something last night from a trusted seller that I've wanted for a long time, so it's not as though I'm being totally virtuous!
Sidelines for me where the sales are concerned. We went to the Bloomies home sale on Saturday and found nothing, even though there were specific things we were looking for. Then went upstairs and got DH 3 new (not on sale) shirts.
My birthday is coming up this weekend, though, and I’ve coerced DH into shopping with me, so we’ll see if the stars align for new bag then!
Haha, thanks ladies!! Bags A and C are not stylish (at all) as Bag B. It really is the plainest of bag styles and I guess more on the functional side.
ETA: Bag C is nubuck and not suede. So I read about the difference. I thought nubuck is generally the cheaper leather of the 2. But I read it's the other way around?

What I would give to feel like my wardrobe was on target! Sometimes I look at my clothes and wonder which target I was firing at when I bought them!

I had to spruce it up so that I would want to wear it. Oh wait, the challenge is for a favorite bag. So mine was more like Never Wear.That is Yoox, sometimes they come out with great prices!! And the last promo I availed of was extra 25% or 30% off on some Dream Box items, even if on sale. On the other hand, I can't understand their pricing for some Furla bags.
