Need an opinion for this bag strap.

I bought it to give color to a LC bag that I'm now selling (not here, of course!)

Does it work with my Mulberry?
If it doesn't, I might give it a try on my Speedy 30, but not sure. Maybe I should give a different strap a try. I just found this one pretty, lol.

But if it doesn't work on Mulberry, it's going on the chopping block.
Flower power!!! :flowers:

Yippee! I got email notification that my carefree bag is coming in today. I'm hoping it will work. :amuse: I'm also hoping this will stop my buying itch. I'm struggling to stay on Pause Peninsula which make zero sense. I love my bags and only have the one gap - the black tote - to fill.

Part of this is avoidance. I'm focused on buying clothes but don't want to physically shop :-s :yucky: v online shopping. Argh! I love getting new clothes. I just hate hunting them in stores. It takes up so much time (hear the whine creep into my voice?). I'd rather be doing something fun in the clothes. Not looking for them.

I really need to discover new brands that have the quality, style and cut I want with predictable sizing. Then I can order online. :happydance: LOL!

Do all of you have trusty "go to brands" for your bags, clothes, shoes, etc. ? Or do you enjoy the thrill of finding new when you shop?
I do have go to brands for clothes. Not that I shop at these stores exclusively, but I pretty much always look at Zara and Asos first and find what I like! Jcrew and Madewell are other go tos for me. I like knowing that I know my size and am familiar with which styles look good on my frame.

They look great together! What a pretty strap, the flowers are just the right amount of embellishment!

I hate shopping for clothes. I'm not the woman who has one size and everything fits in that size. I have to try on everything or I'll be returning it. Therefore, I don't enjoy it at all.
It's a chore for me. I have a gf who doesn't try anything on, even if we are in the store. She looks for "her size" buys it, takes it home and everything fits.

Your girlfriend is lucky! Depending on cut, I usually know my size range within 2 sizes but that still makes me have to try things on. Which is what I hate. Taking clothes off putting them on, realizing that outfit needs a different bra, fixing my hair after it's all over my head...
I hate shopping for clothes too!
We need to find personal shoppers who will work for free and bring the pretty things to our houses! LOL!
I was 10 to 19 during the 70's, which is still my favorite decade of clothes. The beginning of the 70's was pretty boring. I went to a private Catholic school and had to wear a blue plaid jumper with white blouses and white knee high socks. Every day. I think I was in the 6th grade when we were allowed to wear pastel color blouses and navy knee high socks, if we wanted to. When I got to high school it was 1975 and of course going out with friends I got to have more clothes to wear when not at school. We wore bandanas on our hair with the ties in the back, peasant tops, tie dye, peace sign jewelry and bell bottoms!! Our rule was the leg had to fit all the way over your head to your neck, or it wasn't near enough bell! My 2 favorites I'm posting pics of, these aren't the actual ones I had, but very close. I could have wore these forever!

The blue were my absolute favorite, red plaid was second.
The funny thing about iconic fashion is that versions of it can be worn any year. Right now, someone could look amazing in bell bottomed jeans and be standing right next to someone looking great in a 60's inspired mini. It's really about how the items are styled (and how the person carries themselves) that keep them fresh.
When I'm shopping for clothes I always try on the stuff that looks horrible on the hangar - found some of my favourite things that way, such as dull little brown dress shift that looked amazing on - it works well in the sales, because things that don't hang we'll are often reduced ;)
I SO AGREE! Some of the weirdest looking things on a hanger are the most amazing items.

I was just about to walk out the door and got a call that I'm getting overnight guests tomorrow :-s ...

... that plan to stay through the weekend.

Um...a little notice would be nice. LOL! So I reversed direction to make sure the guest space is freshened and will need to hit the grocery store. Not how I planned the spend my afternoon / evening.

You got a chance to show them your amazing amended bag collection.
LOL! If they had popped in instead of giving me a whopping 20 hours notice, that would have been the case. I love having my bags out where I can see them. But since they'll be staying in the guest room, I have to put my babies away. :hrmm: Neither my bags nor I are happy about this development. lol!

But, thank you very much for the compliment on my collection. :amuse: It is making me very happy.

You sound very cool

I could do with a pair of the sailor bell bottoms now!

I'm with you on knowing what my size should be or close to, but I have to try on. I hate being in cramped little rooms changing clothes, trying to see if you like it, separating the yesses to the maybes to the not in this lifetime!! Ugh....
My two best friends both hate to shop for anything, so I have to go alone. You're so right about what goes around comes around. I was looking up clothes from the 70s and thought I still like that and would wear it!

That wouldn't make me the happiest person. A little notice would have been nice.
