I watch the series Doctor Who. At some point, I noticed some of the accessories companions carried, like Clara Oswald and her red satchel. So, if the Doctor showed up (traveler through time and space) and you had time to grab just one bag before running off on adventures with him, which would it be?
My one bag would be a large trash bag with the properties of Dr. Who's telephone booth. I'd put all my bags in there and be ready to go. I can travel anywhere and pick up clothes along the way as long as I have my bags and my bras (I have an odd size and I buy great bras that I can't get everywhere. LOL!)

Hmmmm...but if I only could take one bag it would be my gold perforated metallic lamb Chanel Boy. I know it sounds impractical but it is my favorite bag and I use it a lot already. If I'm living in a world where Dr. Who is real, why not be stylish and adventurous?

If I am forced to be practical it would be my silver Jimmy Choo biker bag or my new Fendi BTW. Both are comfy and hold a ton while still looking good.
My new Furla had her first outing today. The lady guard by the entrance at the mall said (as she went through the motion of checking my bag which is an SOP here) "your bag is beautiful!"

I normally don't match blue and olive green, but I wanted to wear the bag! [emoji4]
This is a WONDERFUL bag. If fits you perfectly in your modeling shots. I'm off to buy one now. I'm in love!!!
I have a question for everyone - do you have a bag in your collection that you can imagine wearing and wearing and wearing till it falls to bits? I'm sometimes fickle with bags, and move them on when I get bored, but I've had this goatskin Pandora for about 3 years. I've worn it regularly and in all sorts of weather, slinging it around without babying it, and all it does is get softer. Such an easy bag to live with

Not exactly. I don't really have many slouchy / looks great broken in bags because I prefer structured bags. But, I'd actually like to change that. I'd love one smooshy bag with yummy chewy leather that I can take everywhere. I'm looking at Balenciaga for that reason.
So I'll answer your question this way. The bags that I see me having forever even though they'll have to be cared for and get repaired or refreshed are my gold Boy and my m/l silver lamb chanel classic flap. I adore these bags and - other than a couple of black bags - use them the most in my collection.

It's HELP ME STYLE MY BAG week!

Share a photo of a bag that you were excited to buy but find that you rarely wear because you don't know how to pair it with your clothes and shoes. Then share a little bit about your style and the clothes you have.

Your pocket friends will help you create outfits perfect for your bag. And they may also give you suggestions on a few clothing pieces to buy to support wearing your bag.

When we did this before, we found that photos are helpful - both in showing the bag and in giving ideas of how to style it. So where possible, please google and share images of the item or look you are describing.

I was driving this week and had to stop short. My new Fendi flew off the passenger seat onto the floor. :annoyed: So I decided to go ahead and buy the hooks someone had mentioned (was it you @ksuromax?) to use to hang my bags from the seat. IMG_6168.jpg
They should be here on Monday. Now I'm worrying they will put a dent in the leather handles. :-s

I've also seen purse caddies / pouches like this but read mixed reviews on TPF. Some people love them. Some say they are too small. IMG_6169.jpg
So this made me wonder: what is your solution to keep your bags from taking flight while you're driving.

Since they introduced charges for supermarket plastic bags, the footwell of my car is full of reusable "bag for life" bags, (I'm always buying new ones, having forgotten to take one with me into the shop ) beneficial spin off of which is that it provides an effective cushion for landings :giggle:

Gorgeous shade of green and I really like that bag. So many colors can be considered neutral, I think it goes nicely with your outfit.

Lol they sound like so much fun

Thanks dc!!

Wow msd! I already thought this bag is beautiful from your previous picture but now I love it even more from this mod shot! Looks fantastic on you and I love how you used it as a shoulder bag.
They are a ton of fun. The 7 year old is one of triplets, the other 2 are boys and the 6 year old is little sister.

It was not me, but i do use a hook for my formal suit, i hang it on the upper handle above the backseat, and should there be a need to hang a suit, a handbag, or anything else, it comes in very handy. But usually my bag is sitting in the passenger seat, or on my laps, if DH is driving.
i am getting them from hardware section in the hypermarket and use everywhere, in the kitchen, in the shower room, in the car....

Lovely bag! I wouldn't get rid of it either! One that I will always keep is a red suede Rhyder. I just love everything about it.

I pop back in the thread after seeing your bag pic. It's so gorgeous!!! I don't think I have a bag that I will use till it falls apart. I do wish I'm like that sometimes. I guess I'm too bored so bags are my adventure getaway. The constant changing group of bags (via buy/sell) is also reflecting my current lifestyle and style.

Nosey Rosey is here! Can we see a picture?! [emoji16]

Sure. I don't have many pics.

Mine is black patent with ghw and bright blue lapis. They were also made in non-patent, lizard and croc (not sure about ostrich but I can dream). The stones I've seen so far have been lapis, tiger's eye, onyx, malachite, all look lovely. Prob only 1 or 2 were made in each combo so you see why I'd have to time-travel, years from about 1968-'72. Superb bags but mine is a bit of train-wreck due to someone incorrectly storing it.

Here with a Chanel around the same age:

That caddy would be way too small.

I'm always in the passenger seat so easy, it goes on my lap or on my feet.
