I mentioned before in this thread that I got a light blue H scarf but then the seller mixed up the package with that of another buyer from the US. I think that was a blessing in disguise after all!

Long story short, the seller was able to send a similar piece to the US. The seller asked me if I want to get the scarf instead of sending it back. Of course he/she offered a discount. After much thought I said no. But then, by some stroke of luck, the scarf got delivered to the house (instead of the usual me picking it up at the post office). I didn't refuse the package since I was afraid it will just get lost (PO antiquated and not very efficient).

I didn't open it yet then I contacted the seller. I said I will just buy it and to let me know how much I need to pay when he/she sends the original scarf I bought (still in transit back to him/her from the US). He/she quoted me a low amount to compensate for all the trouble! So I'm getting 2 scarves for a very good price, still within my budget for 1 scarf!

And, the scarf I almost rejected is so beautiful!! This seller pic doesn't do it justice! Grand Fonds.

P.S. Ksuromax - did you get your pink H scarf from a Japanese seller? We might have the same seller as I saw the same pink scarf in his/her sold listings.
Hi msd_bags, I'm glad the mix up worked in your favour. This is a beautiful colourway, congratulations!

Happy almost Birthday and congrats on both scarfs.

Right now we're doing dressed up bags - charms, scarves, etc.

What do we want to do going forward?

Here are the topics we've done this year
• Challenges (15 in 31, 5 in 31, @ksuromax's challenges, etc.)
• Bags by color
• Bags with special memories / stories
• Bags amazing for your lifestyle
• Bags we hate in our own closets
• Favorite bags
• Bags all dressed up (with charms, twillies, etc)

And, these are topics that we've brainstormed in past conversations or done in previous years.
• Bags by brand
• Bags by style
• Bag temptations
• The bag we're hunting
• Bags we covet but will never buy
• Help me style my bag!
• The bag(s) that got away
• Throwback Thursday - share pictures of one of the earliest bags we ever carried (from our libraries or from finding the bag online)
• Cheap / expensive bags we love
• Bags themed to travel locations
• Other categories: SLG's, Accessories, Jewelry, Scarves, Clothing

So shall we do one of these or something new? I'm all for any topic that helps us appreciate and enjoy our current collection. I've been a guilty bunny with buying  but I do want to focus on what I have vs. something new.
I watch the series Doctor Who. At some point, I noticed some of the accessories companions carried, like Clara Oswald and her red satchel. So, if the Doctor showed up (traveler through time and space) and you had time to grab just one bag before running off on adventures with him, which would it be?

@ksuromax what a great looking scarf!! I love topics on Egypt and mummies; made a special trip to see the king tut exhibit in Seattle several years ago.
Thank you! I love this theme, too, and i plan to go there and see them all one day, hopefully sooner than later  so far i saw some of them in Louvre, Paris....

Gorgeous!
thank you :ty:

Thanks for the scarf love ladies!! I'm really happy with how it's turned out. I hope my original purchase arrives soon too.

I've been looking for carefree bags for a while with little success. Like @dcooney4, I want nice looking bags that don't have to be babied but are inexpensive enough so that when they get worn I can give them away or pitch them.

So I'm really happy as I think I've scored a brand new leather carefree bag for 70% off. It should be here Monday. Fingers crossed that it will do the job. :amuse: I think finding great carefree bags is harder than finding the perfect bags for our collections. :-s
I'm curious, can't wait to see what this is! :flowers:

It's a very well known scarf and very desirable, so glad it worked out the way it has

Late-1960s Gucci handbag designed by Rodolpho Gucci. He made the bags with semi-precious stones. I have one but it needs a friend

My new Furla had her first outing today. The lady guard by the entrance at the mall said (as she went through the motion of checking my bag which is an SOP here) "your bag is beautiful!"

I normally don't match blue and olive green, but I wanted to wear the bag! [emoji4]
Wow it really is a beautiful bag. Your outfit looks cute with it.

This is a tough one. Herbag PM; I am thinking practicality also. At first I thought Picotin MM, but the top is fairly open. For adventures, I can close my Herbag and carry it on my shoulder easily too! [emoji23]
