I'm curious. It's seems most of us tend to buy certain color bags (and avoid others). Do you favorite bag colors correspond to your favorite colors in general?

For me they don't - which I find really odd. My favorite colors are pink and green. My favorite bag colors, however, are black, pink, blue and metallics. I wonder why there is a difference.
If I'm talking about bags, I tend to sway towards blue, purple, red, nude pinks, light beige. If I'm just talking about favorite colors in general, maybe...blue. I don't think I have a favorite FAVORITE color that I feel very strongly towards. There is however one color that I would not consider for bags at all, and that is yellow. It's just too hard for me to deal with. And also silver and gold and grey. Grey only attracts me if it matches nicely with other colors, like my Pink and Grey Demi Jour. I find grey to be a very dull color, even though I've seen many said it's a neutral color.

Argh! I dropped my phone and now it has a major crack on the screen and huge black streaks.:frown: I'm hoping I can find an Apple store sometime over the next few days.
I would love to work in a brand blind environment. Honestly, I don't know why anyone cares even a little bit about what anyone else carries (wears, drives) beyond liking and complimenting pretty eye candy.

And I will connect DD with you and the two of you can walk on vacations. LOL! I am dying for cabs and restful times in a cafe sipping wine. Instead we are marching all over the place.

Ironic thing - I bought (fairly ugly) shoes specifically designed for walking since I knew DD would want to walk everywhere. I tried them out walking at home and they were fine. But, that was on carpet and not for 16 hours a day. Anyway, I wore one pair the first day and had to go to the pharmacy as I got horrible blisters. :annoyed: Since then I've been wearing my various cute shoes (that I packed last minute just in case) and my feet are happy.

I should have known that pretty pink and grey bag was Fendi. I knew I recognized the clasp but couldn't place it. Again, gorgeous bag and gorgeous combo! My wedding colors were pink and silver because I live shades of pink and grey together!!!! (And I love sparkle. LOL!)
And, I've been looking at green too! I love a true rich, bright green. I want green clothes and I'm open to getting a green bag. Haven't found either that I want to buy.

Yes! I love this city. And I'm not a big city gal. (I don't care for NY, LA, etc.). I could soooo live here. The history, beautiful architecture and culture are perfect.
And, I have eaten more than my fair share of croissants...with lots o' ,butter and jam.
Red is interesting to me. I don't think any other colors has as many different hues that are "right" and "wrong" for people. I never hear of someone saying the wrong shade of purple is bad for them. But I'm the opposite of you. I prefer blue or true reds. The orange-y tones aren't the best for me.
Deep violet. Like an aubergine? Prob not. That's dark purple. Hmmm...have you thought of getting clothes made for you in that color?

Actually I don't wear much pink or green at all. Now I tend to wear more neutrals such as black, white, cream, grey and saturated (not neon) brights like red and cobalt.
I'm actually starting to redo my wardrobe and am actively looking for pink and green. In fact with the redo I was inspired by what I did with my bags. I'm going to write down my ideal wardrobe and try to buy from that starting with capsule collection / foundation items and then building layers as I go on.

Yes! I agree. And, red is also good as a pop of color. I recall you saying you wear a lot of black. A pop of red with black is so chic!!! I bet your combos look wonderful.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors to wear but, again, I don't have it in my closet right now. I need to remedy that. Do you just have yellow blouses or all types of yellow clothes? I don't know that I could commit to a yellow bag though. I wear pink when I need a girly color for my outfits. And I wear a lot of black and don't want to look like a bumble bee.
that doesn't sound like a mess to me. You named three great colors and know exactly how you like them. I think it works!!!
Ooohh. Pink and silver wedding colors!! I imagine they must be really lovely, especially if it is pastel pink / light pink? I guess in a way, silver is a variation of grey. But both colors aren't my most preferred, if I just look at them as an individual color. I found my green bag (s), if the online pictures are more or less true to what I see on my laptop screen. XD Just waiting for the sale and I will swoop right in and snatch it!

Haha  Snap!! These are from my kitchen windowsill

These are gorgeous. I wish I had a green thumb!

I never used to like grey in clothing that much. Now I love it. I realized I have 7 grey or silver bags. They are a great neutral for me when black would feel to harsh.
This happened to me...there is a huge Apple store in the Louvre mall and they're very helpful
THANKS for letting me know one is there. We're going tomorrow and I'll try to get my phone fixed. It's really bad. :hrmm: Wish me luck! IMG_4337.JPG

My closet is full of blues and then whites and blacks. Then I gravitate towards blue and red bags. I love some brown bags but they would clash with my gray slacks if I'm not wearing black ones, and with blue and black blouses. So I find I stay off brown bags.

I did finally see one bag in person that I've considered as a workhorse (for me meaning a bag I can take to work) - the Max Mara Whitney. I love this bag!!! @missie1 had suggested it to me and it's been on my radar since. This is the first time I've seen it in person and it's perfect. No branding, a discreet and quiet design, great materials and what looks like great craftsmanship. Arm carry with an optional strap. I think it may be a little heavy but I should be ok. It's very similar in structure to the YSL sac de jour. I want to compare the 2 as I like the design and price of the Max Mara but resale on the YSL would be better.

I almost bought it in the black medium as I also bought two pieces of clothing there (a blouse and a dress). But I asked my BFF to search for models (I can't search as easily for US sites - I get EU sites here) and she saw that I can get them new approx. the price here even given the vat refund. So, I'll wait so I don't have to carry another box home. :doh:And maybe I can find one preloved.

DD saved me from going rogue in another store and buying a cute red saddle bag. She's right. I was caught up on the moment wouldn't have worn it. :-s It was a brand I haven't heard of and it was too tiny. I just have an itch for a small-ish red bag and I have an itch for a saddle bag. So I need to consider if I really need either those in my collection.
I was seeing the Max Mara a lot online before, then I finally saw it in person at a boutique during a trip. I was immediately in awe because of how elegant it looked!

You're not the only one. I find gray quite dull, too. Only a specific shade that makes my heart skip though. [emoji4]

That's really bad. [emoji43] Hope they can fix it for you with not much of a problem.

Shared this picture in another thread, figured I should share here

I got these souvenirs from one of my trips, the passport and pass case were from Fortnum, the tag from a museum. Can't remember which lol. I thought this one room was an exhibit but it was a gift shop. I guess I naturally gravitate towards places to spend at [emoji23]
