Argh! I dropped my phone and now it has a major crack on the screen and huge black streaks.

I'm hoping I can find an Apple store sometime over the next few days.
Probably a good thing, some of my colleagues don't recognize brands beyond
Coach, MK and Longchamp (Le Pliage). So I wear my Saint Laurent tote for instance without anyone knowing (presumably) that it is branded. And there's one funny incident, I might have mentioned this in last year's thread, I was wearing my
Gucci Sukey in micro guccissima leather. In short, the leather is embossed. One co-worker said, "Your bag is pretty! Is that Coach?" Lol!
I know the walking thing too well. I think I am similar to your daughter when I travel, I love to walk than take the cab. During my last trip (Japan), as they have a great transport system, we took the train a lot. And that entailed a lot of walking too!! My Fitbit recorded more than 20,000 steps in one day! A few years back, I accompanied my post teen nieces and a nephew on a tour of Singapore. I'm like the cool aunt to them, fyi. When we got back, they told their mom (a sister of mine) that my itinerary was too tiring because of all the walking, lol.
I can't wait to know the bag you will bring home from that trip!
Is the metropolis tote in crosshatched leather? I like the Furla metropolis line in looks, but I prefer non-saffiano like leather. So are you keeping the light blue?
I would love to work in a brand blind environment. Honestly, I don't know why anyone cares even a little bit about what anyone else carries (wears, drives) beyond liking and complimenting pretty eye candy.
And I will connect DD with you and the two of you can walk on vacations. LOL! I am dying for cabs and restful times in a cafe sipping wine. Instead we are marching all over the place.
Ironic thing - I bought (fairly ugly) shoes specifically designed for walking since I knew DD would want to walk everywhere. I tried them out walking at home and they were fine. But, that was on carpet and not for 16 hours a day. Anyway, I wore one pair the first day and had to go to the pharmacy as I got horrible blisters.

Since then I've been wearing my various cute shoes (that I packed last minute just in case) and my feet are happy.
I think I tend to like those boston style/ rectangular-ish bags. As for color, I'm quite often attracted to the blue, and red is always very eye catching. But mostly blue I guess. Currently, I'm seized by the Green bug. Every time I see a lovely green, I just want to ooh and aah over it (at the screen).
Thanks! Floral is MZ Wallace Medium Metro Tote. It's really huge and the most colorful bag I have in my collection. I guess it's good if u need to carry groceries?? Good for overnight packing too.
Thanks!
Yes, I'm so happy to see cats lurking around and just looking cute. Yeah, I think I kinda like colorblocking? Especially when the colors match. :O
I'm glad you approve of the rainbow! But my rainbow can't match those rainbow BVs.

That's why we need colors to spice up our lives.
Pink and grey (and side panel is red, but not shown) is
Fendi Demi Jour.

It doesn't seem very popular when compared to other
Fendi bags.
You and Bake both.
I don't know whether its a he or she. But I guess I will go with Mr Kitty then, since he looks kinda grouchy in the photo.
I should have known that pretty pink and grey bag was
Fendi. I knew I recognized the clasp but couldn't place it. Again, gorgeous bag and gorgeous combo! My wedding colors were pink and silver because I live shades of pink and grey together!!!! (And I love sparkle. LOL!)
And, I've been looking at green too! I love a true rich, bright green. I want green clothes and I'm open to getting a green bag. Haven't found either that I want to buy.
what a wonderful time you're having, Spark! Enjoy every minute!!!
We were in Paris and Lyon in September, walked them on foot all over with 8 and 11 year old kids, and they loved it!!! In places like this all and everything breathes of history and heritage, which you can feel only being through it, i.e. walking by the cobbled streets, touching the ancient door locks....
enjoy and don's worry about losing weight, croissants will not allow you to!
Yes! I love this city. And I'm not a big city gal. (I don't care for NY, LA, etc.). I could soooo live here. The history, beautiful architecture and culture are perfect.
And, I have eaten more than my fair share of croissants...with lots o' ,butter and jam.
Nope

i am open for any colours, it just has to be a right shade

Orange-y/warm reds compliment my pale skin, while bluish/cold reds make me look ill
so does bright green, and i avoid these, but i am absolutely fine with any other greens - fluo/neon, dark green...
my favourite colour is deep violet, but it's hard to find in either bags, or clothes stores, thus i am still in ongoing search
Red is interesting to me. I don't think any other colors has as many different hues that are "right" and "wrong" for people. I never hear of someone saying the wrong shade of purple is bad for them. But I'm the opposite of you. I prefer blue or true reds. The orange-y tones aren't the best for me.
Deep violet. Like an aubergine? Prob not. That's dark purple. Hmmm...have you thought of getting clothes made for you in that color?
What an interesting question! Certainly food for thought. Do you tend to wear pink or green? Do you dress to match your bags or the other way round? That help to explain your preferred bag colours.
Actually I don't wear much pink or green at all. Now I tend to wear more neutrals such as black, white, cream, grey and saturated (not neon) brights like red and cobalt.
I'm actually starting to redo my wardrobe and am actively looking for pink and green. In fact with the redo I was inspired by what I did with my bags. I'm going to write down my ideal wardrobe and try to buy from that starting with capsule collection / foundation items and then building layers as I go on.
Good question, spark! I become smitten with red bags... I only have two, but I fall in love with plenty more! But I don't own anything red in any other item of clothing, other than 2 pairs of red flats and a red cardigan. There's just something about a red handbag that's so darned cute!
Yes! I agree. And, red is also good as a pop of color. I recall you saying you wear a lot of black. A pop of red with black is so chic!!! I bet your combos look wonderful.
For me personally my favorite colors translate to my bag choices. My favorite colors are pink and yellow. I have both these colors in my collection and I love them
Yellow is one of my favorite colors to wear but, again, I don't have it in my closet right now. I need to remedy that. Do you just have yellow blouses or all types of yellow clothes? I don't know that I could commit to a yellow bag though. I wear pink when I need a girly color for my outfits. And I wear a lot of black and don't want to look like a bumble bee.
I love the color blue, especially in cars, some clothes, a little in home decorating and do not like blue handbags. I love black and red bags, I do like black clothes and red, pretty much just in outerwear. Lord, I am a mess!
that doesn't sound like a mess to me. You named three great colors and know exactly how you like them. I think it works!!!
