My bag is still wrapped but I took a picture of the floor model.

I love this color!
The pocket in front is also very handy! Good choice!

The other one I want is this one. It is so light weight! This photo is from a while ago and when I went back to get it they were sold out.

I like this one too, but the other seems more functional.

I never thought about the purgatory spot like that before. I can see that working too. I had to many of a certain color but not in the style that works best for me, when I looked in the shelf it looked like I had enough. It was after I took more photos that it clicked.
As far the sales go it is the Furla totes that are calling me. I did check out the Mbmj bags at the outlet but they were to heavy. A while ago I asked the Sa if they get the totes back in the light grey to call me. I thought they would have it in today but it wasn't there yet. I was bad and picked up the medium blue leather tote with the metropolis lock but I still want the light grey tote.

Nice totes that you picked out. I was so anti tote and have really come around to how useful they are. The nylon totes DD and I are using are perfect for the trip. I need to lug more things than I normally would. And there are too many times where I need to put a bag on the ground. So I'm glad I have this nothingness tote.
BUT! I want a real tote like what you typically buy. I neeeeeeeeed a pretty but functional black tote. I went into 3 Chanels and they had nothing. I'm wondering if inventory in Paris is low because of tourists and maybe we'll find more in Nice or Monaco. But if nothing else, I've drunk more champagne on this trip than I have in my entire lifetime. LOL!

Sparkle- I am so glad you are having such a wonderful trip. Love the Van Gogh bag. I can't wait to see what you come home with.

Sounds like a great time! That's what I'm like when I'm in another country....go till we flop, we can sleep when we get home. I have to dislike your like of the LV bags in the window. I'm one of the ones who think they're really bad.

LOL! I appreciate the honesty. I think this is a very fun bag for the right fun loving fashionista who always has the bag of "the moment". I think there are people who can make this work. It's like the LED light Chanel bag. I wouldn't ever want to carry it but some pop star can and make it look great.

Not me. I wouldn't wear those bags as they have more going on that I want. I need forever bags. I can't / don't want to flip bags after a season.

But I love it as art. I like that designers push boundaries.

@Sparkletastic glad you're having such a great time. I haven't been to Paris for many years, even though DH has family there. I will have to live vicariously through you for now. Can't wait to see your purchases.

I did finally see one bag in person that I've considered as a workhorse (for me meaning a bag I can take to work) - the Max Mara Whitney. I love this bag!!! @missie1 had suggested it to me and it's been on my radar since. This is the first time I've seen it in person and it's perfect. No branding, a discreet and quiet design, great materials and what looks like great craftsmanship. Arm carry with an optional strap. I think it may be a little heavy but I should be ok. It's very similar in structure to the YSL sac de jour. I want to compare the 2 as I like the design and price of the Max Mara but resale on the YSL would be better.

I almost bought it in the black medium as I also bought two pieces of clothing there (a blouse and a dress). But I asked my BFF to search for models (I can't search as easily for US sites - I get EU sites here) and she saw that I can get them new approx. the price here even given the vat refund. So, I'll wait so I don't have to carry another box home. And maybe I can find one preloved.

DD saved me from going rogue in another store and buying a cute red saddle bag. She's right. I was caught up on the moment wouldn't have worn it. It was a brand I haven't heard of and it was too tiny. I just have an itch for a small-ish red bag and I have an itch for a saddle bag. So I need to consider if I really need either those in my collection.

Nope i am open for any colours, it just has to be a right shade
Orange-y/warm reds compliment my pale skin, while bluish/cold reds make me look ill
so does bright green, and i avoid these, but i am absolutely fine with any other greens - fluo/neon, dark green...
my favourite colour is deep violet, but it's hard to find in either bags, or clothes stores, thus i am still in ongoing search

What an interesting question! Certainly food for thought. Do you tend to wear pink or green? Do you dress to match your bags or the other way round? That help to explain your preferred bag colours.
