Msd, I had though the other day that you really seem to be hitting your stride with knowing what you want and then getting it. Your collection has really matured to support your taste and needs. Kudos!!I've relaxed a bit in terms of wanting bags left and right. Maybe I'm happy with what I have right now or also partly because this is a busy time at work. I have a trip to Macau next month, but I really don't plan to buy anything. But of course, sometimes we do unplanned purchases, lol. If I'm able to stick to my plan, I will only have 1 (or at most 2) bag purchase for the year, and that will be around Black Friday.. Unfortunately, I have not sold any bag after my sales in January.
Lately, when I browse, I only look at certain brands - MCM, AMQueen, Saint Laurent, Dolce & Gabbana, Longchamp and Furla. Plus Massaccesi. This is good as it limits my lusting. I like a lot of the Furla bags I see lately, but I have a realization. Though sometimes a contemporary brand bag looks and feels luxe to me, I just desire a "higher" brand. Part of the realization is I feel more confident in certain settings when I have a premiere brand with me. For example, when I go to outside meetings with people from private companies in our industry, I prefer to use my "more" branded but discreet branding bags. These ladies earn much more than me for sure because I am from a government corporation and pay is standardized. But I want them to feel that we are equal (just my mindset), even if in salaries we are not. Actually, generally they are nice, it's just a specific senior and old lady I am thinking about right now who is a natural bully. In everyday in-office setting, I'm comfortable with contemporary but quality bags.
My stay in Pause Peninsula will also cover shoes and scarves I hope. Although I must report that I have just purchased a H scarf from ebay, but it is in a colorway that I have earlier identified as a need.
I also only look at certain brands. I think that can be a good thing. We know what we like and we go for it.
I'm the opposite on brands in professional situations. I rarely let work colleagues see my nice things. I'll take my nicer things when I am meeting with vendors because I'm paying them and they don't get a vote on what I wear. LOL! But for co workers or clients I try to stay very under the radar. The cultures I work in have a good deal of pettiness. I don't understand it. I've worked jobs where we all got paid enough where buying a designer bag should be a yawn - no big deal. But it was. <sigh> So, forget wearing Chanel or LV. And please don't cause a heart attack with Hermes. Because they will seethe with jealousy over MK or Coach. So I usually will not take any designer bag - contemporary or premium.

And good luck on Pause Peninsula!
Which ones are tempting you the most? These sales are killing me.

When I sell a bag it goes into my purgatory box. I don't want it clogging my closet. I also want to see at a glance what I have and what holes (if any) I need to fill. If I keep the "to be sold" bags in there I can mistankenly think I have a need covered when I don't.I keep the bags I want to sell with the ones that I am keeping. So it forces me to be a bit more conscious of how much I have. Do you remove yours to a separate area once you determine a bag must go?
I like your pink and grey bag! What brand is that?Phew. I'm back again after half lurking plus real life plus other distractions. I will start by saying, "How cute!!! So many kitty pictures popping out!"The surrounding blocks near my house always have some cats lurking around, so whenever I see them on my way home, I will take pictures. Right below is a random picture of a random cat that I saw on my way home on a random day.

Next up: Bags!
So I noted it is currently multi-color week (I missed the weeks prior). I'm assuming a bag with more than 1 color is considered multi-colored? The picture is a mish mash of old photos (even including unboxing photos), because most of the time it didn't cross my mind to take a picture of the bag I'm currently using. Don't mind that one bag in solid color, it just happened to be there.
