LV is definitely making it hard for me to shop my closet. The preview for cruise is tempting already! [emoji31]

Calm down. You'll know whether or not it worth it at the end. [emoji6]

I pack very efficiently. LOL! Here's an example from when I recently went to Maui.
Personal Item (Backpack)
#1 & #2: Miss Dior (pink) and Miss Dior blue lightly stuffed with clothing and wrapped in bubble wrap and stacked on top of each other in middle sections.
#3: Pewter Miu Miu stuffed and in front section
Carryon suitcase
#4: Prada Jute / Python - Collapse to a flat pancake. I put this in the zip section on the "lid" of my carryon suitcase
#5: Beach Bag - Collapse to a flat pancake and add to zip section on the lid of my suitcase
#6 Chanel pearl grey M/L - nestled on top layer of clothes
#6 Fossil Wristlet - tucked in corner
There are two bag brands that I regret not getting into earlier: Mulberry and Rebecca Minkoff. I've always liked the MAM and I've read on TPF about how wonderful the quality was on these bags. So I think you picked a winner to keep. The bag I can't let go even if I don't use it much (anymore?) is my Rebecca Minkoff MAM black basketweave with green zipper track. I had an RM phase and I want to retain at least one bag from that time in my life. I feel this particular variant is so classic, beautiful and made in USA. So I've decided it's the one to keep.

Ohmigoodness. I fly a LOT and I've never had a flight that didn't allow a personal item.BrilliantI think you should be giving online packing advise
I had no personal item allowed this flight which really stumped meIt doesn't happen often but when it does it's a real bummer. The annoying thing is I could have got away with it, problem is they are so inconsistent at check in, sometimes they are picky sometimes not

You are so right! I discovered despite having many black bags most don't close completely so when it rains I can't use them. Also the only one remotely tote shaped is beautiful but to heavy for my shoulder. I already removed a few of the unused brown bags. I found I could use a solid color neutral tote. On top of that I too am good on the mini bags department.I listed my bags by category last year, too... that's when I discovered that I had waaaaaay too many mini bags! And I decluttered them! It's such an interesting little excercise, isn't it? I like having the extra space in my purse closet, and now when I reach for a small bag I know it's one that I really like.![]()
Question for everyone: do you have a bag you keep even though you know you won't wear it often? What bag is it and why are you keeping it?
Mine is my Chanel ivory glazed lamb single classic flap with bijoux hardware.
I can't get this bag to fit in my rotation well at all. There always seems to be a better option in my wardrobe. But it's my only bag in the white / cream color range and I feel like I would get frustrated if I didn't have this color when I needed it.
I'm curious to see what your little used "keeper" bag is.![]()
I can't get rid of this bag, the D&B Florentine satchel. I've had it at least 10 years. I love, love, love the color. The bag is really heavy and the getting in/out I didn't like so I've probably worn her 3 times?! I cannot let it go, because sometimes I get it out just to look at the color! View attachment 3696920
All of my LVs are worth it [emoji23]
I'll see if it's love when I get my orders in. That scarf was jaw dropping when they unfurled it for me.
