Enjoy your holiday! I normally take only 1 handbag (the one I have during the flight) and 1 for sightseeing. And then maybe I'd take 1 small nylon Longhcamp which is easy on the luggage because it is foldable. During my last trip, I didn't intend to use my large Le Pliage for sightseeing, it was a what-if bag for carry-on going back. But it turned out to be more convenient to walk around with that bag. Usually, I don't have dressy evenings out during my trip. But in case, I bring a leather wristlet (Massaccesi Flora for now) which I can use if ever.

Thank you, it's lovely, sunny & very relaxing. I guess how many bags depends on what you are doing and how long you are going for but even if it's a couple of days I can't survive with less than 3

Love your metallics! Especially the copper Chanel and the cute little Jaspal box.
I'm usually take quite a few. For 10-14 days I'll take 6-7 because I need day, evening & beach bags as we almost always go somewhere with nice activities and water. I like to look my best on vacay so I need my best bags (which of course change with my mood) LOL! That's why my upcoming trip is hard. I am limiting myself to 2 bags for 3 weeks. :panic:

I keep my bags in my carryons. I'd go crazy thinking of them potentially getting stolen in checked luggage. :whut: I have to arrive with my bags and my bras LOL! I can buy anything else when I get to my destination if need be.;)

Gosh how do you manage to get 6-7 in your hand luggage? I'm the same and like to bring some of my best ones, I carried a Channel flap & used my WOC as a purse in my Neverfull which was my hand luggage but only managed to get one other in my carry on luggage which was why I decided to risk one in my hand luggage. I know it's insured but I don't like doing it and would only put one in. I used to be able to sneak one into DH's hand luggage but he's stArted bringing so much tech it's impossible now.

We are away for 16 days and I wish I'd bought a medium size bag too. The WOC is brilliant for walking along seafront or trips and my Neverfull GM is a must as Beachbag. That still limits me in the evening, we usually dress "up" for dinner so I have the choice of 2 bags which have to co-ordinate with my whole wardrobe for 16 days  :panic:

I pack very efficiently. LOL! Here's an example from when I recently went to Maui.

Personal Item (Backpack)
#1 & #2: Miss Dior (pink) and Miss Dior blue lightly stuffed with clothing and wrapped in bubble wrap and stacked on top of each other in middle sections.
#3: Pewter Miu Miu stuffed and in front section

Carryon suitcase
#4: Prada Jute / Python - Collapse to a flat pancake. I put this in the zip section on the "lid" of my carryon suitcase
#5: Beach Bag - Collapse to a flat pancake and add to zip section on the lid of my suitcase
#6 Chanel pearl grey M/L - nestled on top layer of clothes
#6 Fossil Wristlet - tucked in corner

Lol!

I spent the weekend in a dilemma that touches on some of the subjects talked about today including 'dated, coats, and buying bags lower priced bags only to find a better one (not capture the subject at hand all that well.)

I love my Hermes Trimll black hobo in Clemence leather. I think it has the prettiest slouch due to the Clemence and is just the right size and comfort for me. I've had it for a decade or more, it barely shows wear and has been in regular rotation all that time and… the sign of a loved bag ... I never buy another in that style and color to compete with it.
Soooo a red version appeared on Ann's last week in Togo leather. I bought it in a nanosecond and it arrived two days later. Then I tied myself up in paroxysms of remorse for two reasons: how dated does this bag look really? It's been out of production for more than a decade. And then I had already bought in March, a cherry red Longchamp Cuir to round out my red bags and that one looks great with my black puffer coat. I didn't need two and the LC wasn't returnable due to the price. So I drove myself crazy and then decided to KEEP the RED TRIM II. I decided so because it's a better bag, I love my black one so I know it works for me, and I don't know when I'll see another in red, if ever. I remained uncomfortable for a few days but now I'm happy as a smiley face. So here they are, my dated but loved Trims.

Gorgeous and timeless!

I decided to make a list of my bags by type totes, satchel, shoulder, crossbody, backpack and clutch/ wristlets. This was not an easy feet as quite a few of my bags can land in more then one category. So I decided to list them how I actually wear them the most and not by what they look like. I must say it was quite the eye opener. Also found a few bags that should homed after checking my list of ticks. I wish things were selling better.

Which bags do you plan to let go?

I've also noticed bag sales being pretty slow. I wonder why. Other than the demonically cursed red Gucci, I have four bags left to sell - all listed with good photos, full descriptions, and priced aggressively. I can't drop the price any more or it would just be better for me to keep them. For example, I listed a pristine condition $4900 bag at 75% off. I'm not however going to sell it for say $750 even if that's now the market value.

Anyway, no movement on any of these since I first listed them in Jan / Feb. it's frustrating.

Question for everyone: do you have a bag you keep even though you know you won't wear it often? What bag is it and why are you keeping it?

Mine is my Chanel ivory glazed lamb single classic flap with bijoux hardware.

I can't get this bag to fit in my rotation well at all. There always seems to be a better option in my wardrobe. But it's my only bag in the white / cream color range and I feel like I would get frustrated if I didn't have this color when I needed it.

I'm curious to see what your little used "keeper" bag is.

I think it is because of all the retail sales. I am not selling any of my new bags from this year or any Lv. Once a bag is gone I will say what it was.

Purchased 15 months ago, first time using...oops! Seizing an opportunity where a diaper bag is not needed.View attachment 3696831

Take every opportunity you can!

Love the pink and the pacman card case!

What are you going to let go of? Which were good buys?
