Not really so much a style or color that I forgot about, I think it was more ....oh this is kind of cute. Then probably wore 1 or 2 times, then put away and forgot about. I need to love a bag, and lust after it for some time before I buy anything else. I am, and have been lusting over a Gucci bag. I have no store close to see it, try it on, see what fits in it and how it fits, so.....I'm going to continue lusting until I travel and can see it or until my lust for it just can't stand another day without it, and I'm not there yet. I want to clean house first anyway. Lol @ which personality bought it! I Can relate....oh, it's cute, let's buy it and never use it. There will be no more of that and that's a promise I made to myself.
I think many of us have done this in years past... I know I have! But it's been a while, and this thread definitely helps to get that urge under control.

My other bag updates: the good, the bad and the ugly :crybaby:

1) Good: I returned the green Chanel for an easy refund.

2) Bad(ish): I'm still waiting on my serendipity bag to get here. I'm having a tad bit of buyer's remorse since it wasn't planned.

3) Ugly: my red Gucci Soho.

This accursed bag attracts scammers!!! I bought it new on sale. But, for selling purposes since so many Sohos are faked, I also I had it authenticated by Castira.

• After having the bag for 3 weeks, the first buyer claimed it wasn't the same color as described. It obviously was. But eBay sided with the buyer. I got the bag back with food crusted on the front and a parking receipt inside.

• I cleaned and conditioned the bag and sold it to a second buyer. Almost a month later she said it was a different size than described. It obviously wasn't but I didn't want to deal with issues so I immediately accepted the return. She shoved it unstuffed into a too small box. :annoyed:

• Now this third buyer has been Hell during the buying process. I should have followed my first mind and declined to sell as I've done with other squirrelly buyers. She contacted me across all the platforms on which I was selling the bag with a wacky lowball offer. I declined. When we eventually agreed on a price via the listing on FB, she sent me the wrong amount. I contacted her to get the remaining amount which she called "whining about nothing". Then she accused me of "selling the bag out from under her" because I removed the listings on other sites. (Why would she think it would stay listed as available?) I assured her the bag was being sent to her. When I mailed the bag, I emailed the tracking number to her. She sent me three emails claiming she didn't receive the tracking info. I responded to each of them with the tracking number and then just gave up and ignored the additional emails she sent.

Now, she claims her sister "knows" Gucci and declared it a fake. (What the heck?) I called her to discuss. As soon as I identified myself, she cursed me out and hung up. I offered my receipt and the Castira authentication to PayPal as proof. They sided with the buyer. :cursing: Really??? Why say you have an investigation process if you will always just side with the buyer? So the bag is headed back to me. Well... I hope it's the bag and not a fake she swapped it with.

I have no idea why this bag is cursed. I have never had issues like this selling anything. This is a beautiful bag. I'm only selling it because I have two other red bags I wear and I just never wore this one. I've sold cheaper bags and more expensive bags. But, honestly, I'm sick of this bag. I'm thinking I'll give it to DD. Or maybe I should just burn it at midnight under a full moon while dancing naked and praying for protection from the handbag gods.:panic: Ok...soooo...nix the naked dancing part.

I'm a huge advocate of people selling their own bags to avoid commissions. It's always worked out well for me. But this has put a really bad taste in my mouth. Is it so hard for people to be honest??? Sheesh.

It's Sunday in parts of our beautiful world!!

So now we start METALLICS week! IMG_2298.JPG

Show off all your metallic bags whether they are in traditional metallic colors such as platinum, yellow/white/rose gold, silver, nickel, bronze, gunmetal, zinc, copper, or pewter. Or if they are metallic versions of other rainbow colors such as turquoise, cobalt, raspberry, petrol green and more!

Metallics are my favorites! :p Can't wait to see your beauties!

That is just so wrong, from all of them. This is why I'm too chicken to sell on eBay. Why doesn't eBay have a better investigation team? Why is the buyer always right, even when proof is against them?

BTW - in case anyone is looking for a packable duffle for travel, I'm buying this to hold anything DD & I buy on the trip. Its a Tumi "just in case" duffle. It's very inexpensive but has great reviews and packs away to nothing. I'm a pink loving girl but I could see it getting scruffy looking. So I may just get boring black View attachment 3690784View attachment 3690783

I am thinking about buying one of these, curious to know how you like it. I actually need a simple carryon with a strap to hold it on my roller. Otherwise I am pushing the handles of my Garden Party over the suitcase handles....

Yikes...I think I would consign and call it a day.

i am so sorry, you've been thru this hassle and headache
maybe, it's the sign to you that you should NOT sell it???? ;)
Make sure you get back your very own bag and maybe, give it another try?? She obviously doesn't want to part with you and keeps coming back

Thanks for caring. This is really frustrating. :-s
Maybe the bag doesn't want to go. I may end up buried with it and the Celine. One in each hand. LOL!
At the beginning of the year, I actually thought this would be the easiest purgatory bag to sell. Who knew the crazy that would ensue.
This makes me even more determined to only buy bags I'll keep. I don't want to deal with selling anymore.

Speaking of travel 'just in case', I asked my sis in law who went on a trip to Spain to get me this expandable Longchamp travel tote (a lot cheaper there). I already have the non-expandable version but it proved to be too small as a second checked in piece during my last travel. So, just in case, especially if my airline ticket allows 2 pcs free for check in. But this does not have the hole for padlock unlike the non-expandable one. This is in Bilberry. Just got it yesterday. But I will not count this as this is for travel.
