Thanks for the insight on the Mirabeau and the smooth leather. The white marks would drive me crazy. And based on the cimmments it seems this isn't practical for carrying my laptop. I'm glad I'm getting opinions before I jumped in! Thanks for sharing.

I loved using it but I was so careful with it. I treated it with care more than any other bag. I've decided to keep it safe in my closet and pull it out once in a while to look at it...lol
I'm a small bag person. I like the style and shape of this bag. Not boring at all!
So I'm bummed. I fell in love with the Vintage Coach Stewardess bags - looked for a couple of months, found one on Posh and hubs encouraged me to go for it as Christmas to myself.
Well it arrived today. It was described as a "messenger" but it does NOT go across my body. That's is what it means - messenger right? I took it to mean larger style crossbody. And it is the modern take not the vintage one.
I've submitted for a return, and am afraid it won't happen. Which means this beautiful purse became a shoulder bag, which I have never been good at rocking.
This bag will sit there taunting me. I feel foolish and misled.

that really sucks, I hope they approve your return. It's a beautiful bag otherwise so maybe if it doesn't work for you, you can advertise it as: bought it but realized it not what it is and selling for the same price as paid? Sometimes I've seen bags selling for the same price as bought, especially by bag lovers who understand. beautiful bag!

My makeup bag is on its last legs but I refuse to spend money on SLG's. I like them but think - that's a third of the way to a purse!So I splurged and bought this pouch for a whopping 99 cents on eBay. I'm just hoping for fabric better than tissue paper at that price.

But seriously, I know I'll need to get something a little better than this eventually but why are branded pouches so expensive?? Can someone please ask the handbag fairy to put a fuchsia Chanel pouch similar to this under my pillow? Are there good quality, inexpensive, non saffiano pouches out there that I've missed?
I don't know much about the branded pouches. I use a handmade one and a felt pouch I got from craft shop for little stuff in my bag. Kate Spade has some cute pouches, but unless I'm really crazy about it, I don't see the point. I just use what I like.
If you're interested, I'd say craft market is a good place to find a nice and unique ones. Etsy also has tons to offer. Just do some search.

I have a very nice metallic Gianni Chiarini pouch which is damaged on the inside... So I am looking for a replacement, no luck so far. You might try Coccinelle or Furla.

Looked at the files: it's called silky snake print [emoji216] Now I'm looking forward to spring/summer!
