I'm going to give it a little while. I really like the bag but, I really don't want to get one of my two allotted bags for 2017 the first week of the year.

I also don't have any other bags I'm willing to cut to do a one in / one out to justify a third bag for the year because I've already planned replacements for the 6 bags I'm planning to cut over the next few years. And, finally, I really do want to love all my bags -particularly the workhorses because I'll wear them so often. If I had to (and gawd I'm hoping not) I'd rather spend $5000 on a daily use bag I love than $5000 on a date night bag. So, for all these reasons I'm trying to pace myself.
BUT, if I do get this bag at some point in the future, it will have to be an add on. I still need my grey or bordeaux workhorse for color variety.
Missie, this rule of yours has become my new rule. Especially since I'm focusing my Chanel collection on getting the now discontinued single flaps and other more rare bags. I need to be certain I love them and will wear them before I buy and they won't go out when DD inherits or (more likely) long term borrows them.
But, ya know. I'm getting this way with all my bags. I need forever bags. I am sick of selling. And I'm not paying premier price points for trendy. So classic shapes, great quality and a true love factor have to be there for me to buy anything ever again.
YAY! We'll keep dithering and deliberating together.

I think this thread is helping us be much more careful on the ins and the outs.
