Re H Evelyne, there are a few of them in Dubai (we have 2 boutiques here), if you, of anyone close, travels here for vacs or business, you can get it from here.
They have Bolides as well.

Re Mulberry, i completely agree with all above said with ref to new models, they are just boring plain, or crazy trendy, not comparable to the older models.
They wear and age well, and as the other side of the coin, if you are on the buying side, you can get a good deal for a steal, and their Oxblood is TDF

Thanks for the intel! Will reach out to my friend and see what can do [emoji8]

So I went to my resolutions on page one.

If I stay on track, I'll be at 60% under $10 cost per wear. New additions have hampered the 70% goal [emoji28]

I am using all my SLGs, charms, and twillies, including new additions. This isn't too hard lol.

I've gotten 2.5 months of no bag shopping (like what, 2 months and 25 days? Haha). Need another 2.5 more on ban island.

Core collection (all bags minus all LCs) as of right now is 16 bags.

My current total is 25. There's 3 bags on the wishlist. So those would still fit in my limit of 20 core/non LC bags.

Side note: I don't count LCs as much because they store flat and are relatively inexpensive. However I do not plan to add any except for limited editions now.

So there I am. That 60% might drop depending if I get the wishlist items. But that resolution did get me wearing a lot of bags till they got to $10 cpw. 15 bags at under $10 cpw!

Hopefully revisiting my goals means I'll be good for 2.5 months, maybe even 2 months and 25 days! [emoji23]
Those were great goals, bake. And good for you, for sticking to them!
I agree with you about not counting LC bags... I know some count theirs, but I don't count mine since I use them as shopping bags, not as handbags.

2 months, 25 days... and how many minutes???

How's everyone on their goals?
I'm good! Hadn't planned any purchases of any sort, and I haven't made any. I've been busy doing other things, and can honestly say when I've looked at magazine ads I haven't been particularly tempted. I wonder if I've lost my bag love sometimes, but then I do enjoy carrying the bags I already own, so I guess maybe it just means my collection is meeting my needs for the time being.

[emoji23] 0 minutes. at midnight I shall run and shop.

I used to use them as handbags, but not much anymore. They are used more like shopping bags and spare travel bags.

I'm not so much tempted by magazines and bloggers as I am tempted when someone raves about their favorite bag. Then I'm all ears.

But that's great!! You do have a great collection to use. Maybe if I stop planning I'll stop being tempted. Never thought of doing that lol.

You should. Planning opens yourself for more coz you're always on the look out. You'll be in the "I need to buy something" mode. You may think you're scrutinizing every purchases, when in fact, you may not even have to have that at all, but you buy because you have to urge to buy something, just that something, coz you already planed for it after all.

That's so true.

And lately my new purchases are impulse bags that I love. I don't need to plan anymore because I have useful bags and a lot of them.

Okay. I'll try my best not to plan, which is hard because I am a planner lol.
Whatever happens for my birthday happens. Lol

I have been sticking to marking off on my list every time I wear a bag. I thought I would see more of a pattern by now . Do you find you carry on style or brand more then others?
Good question! Yes, I find I don't carry my flap bags nearly as often as my open-top or zip-top bags. I don't live in a big city, or use public transportation, so I don't need a flap bag for security. I like the convenience of reaching into a bag to get out my car keys, wallet, and so on. Flap bags are very pretty, but less usable for me.

I carry my medium size bags more frequently. The MCM, Herbag, Speedy 25 & 30. They are not in monogram, especially since the casual dress code really emphasized no obvious logos.

I also carry more stuff around back and fourth so the medium size keeps me prepared but not over burdened. I tried carrying the Pochette Metis before the change of dress code but it was too small for everything I like to have with me.

So the above list are bags that make or almost make the $10cpw because I can wear them to work. The monogram, large bags , and smaller bags don't as much.

I've been thinking about this stuff recently, too. I found that;

On brand:
I find myself prefer carrying smaller brands now. Not even a famous contemporary these days. Although I always prefer my less premiere brand for my day-to-day life, I see myself navigate toward them even more these days.

On material:
I'm having a bit of the "I think I should purge all my non-leather bags" phase the other day. I used to have this thought years ago, but I knew back then that having non-leather bags will keep my closet versatile.
I'm having that thought again now, but I'm also getting older. My lifestyle also changes a bit in details. My non-leather bags are still good and I know it'd take a lot of time and money to replace them, if I want them again, and I don't want to waste that. But I prefer my leathered ones more now. It used to be half-half, with a super soft spot for canvas. The scale is tipping toward leather more. I may change my mind again, but right now, it's definitely a change I'm keeping my eyes on.

On style:
Messenger bags used to be my favorite style and I used to despise handheld, but since my shoulders hurt badly last year, I find myself prefer handheld and loving it more everyday. I put my messenger bags on lately and it's not as comfortable as it used to be. Even with the satchel, I used to prefer the straps, but now, I use strap just when I'm in a rush. I prefer to grab it by the handles and a handheld tote is becoming a favorite. I don't think I'll get rid of all of my messenger bags, but I'm definitely considering retiring some of them that are too big to be comfortable now.

On size:
I prefer my smaller bags now and won't go any bigger than my Bally Wide Horn. That's why I'm letting many bags go and finding them a new home.

On Criteria:
I used to pick bags based on style, material, then size. Now, size is number one.

I feel that size is becoming much more important too. Yesterday, I removed a bag that was cute but was very small and I already had a lighter bag in that color and size. I find medium size bags work best for me. I don't have to switch out of my wallet and I can take my glasses and sunglasses as well as a small pouch. For me it could be messenger , shoulder or hand held as long as the size is right. Thanks to you I do see a pattern it was just not style or color but it was size.

I think all the challenges we've done recently helped a lot, for many of us at least
to find the right style and size, to find the most convenient way of wear and frequency of switching, etc
great job, ladies!!
