And laineycat, I'm still over the moon for both bags. I have been definitely using them and I am just enamored.
I also love love love my March arrival from Massaccesi, the selene midi zip in chocolate verona. And my preloved Fendi. I think 4 bags in a row, in a few days time, that were true love has helped make me sated in a lasting way.

Good thing I love the last MM I got because I don't know if I mentioned it here but Colette told me I was no longer welcome to purchase from them. This was after my last bag starting to fray on the first carry at the handles, and I asked what to do about it and they suggested I mail it back to have standard handles put on and i did so. They followed up with a break up email. Anyway luckily I don't like anything in their spring collection and like I was saying I am quite bag content. And I can buy them second hand on our Facebook group. So no big deal and actually helping me be cured with obsession over picking the specifics to custom orders from italy! It all aligned really well with curing my bag shopping addiction for the moment, when taken altogether. I was hurt for one day but now I'm thinking it was a blessing in disguise to be ejected from the MM family. Besides I don't feel like I did anything wrong or was a too demanding customer or anything, so it's kind of easy for me to shrug it off since I'm not feeling badly about my behavior or anything. If they don't want my business that's fine, there are other bag makers. Like Cathy in Belgium who does equally as polished looking bags for half the price.

Anyway, I'm doing great with a no buy April. Really feel I have a ton of perfect bags for spring. I have to photo my blacks!!!!

Wow, that's totally a OTT response from them

Most of the older styles were discontinued after the last sale. You may be in luck if you go to Bicester and and find something there, but check the linings - latterly Mulberry started putting microfibre linings in Alexas, some Bayswater's and some Lily's instead of suede. Personally I hated it  Some old style Bayswaters are still available on m.com at the moment in oxblood, black and oak, but IMO the leather is not as good as it used to be. I had a look at some oxblood Bayswater's in my local shop and all the bags in stock were very poor - colour mismatch, skinny leather, and not worth £950. I walked away. Of the new leathers I think the smooth calf is gorgeous and much the nicest leather, and I like the printed goatskin - the grained calf is quite stiff though, and I prefer smoochier bags - it just depends whether any of the new styles are for you  But for old styles I'd recommend the outlets or looking for something in good condition on the secondary market. I hope that helps!

My sis is deeply disappointed my M lately. She hardly ever used to buy from anyone else. So sad to hear. when a company starts to think about cutting corners to catch-up on profit margins I tend to think something's drastic afoot

Gucci put micro-fibre linings in some of their bags since the new CD took over 2 years ago. I think they were testing out the market to see how many people didn't care. How many Gucci bas have I bought since then? 0!

I feel that size is becoming much more important too. Yesterday, I removed a bag that was cute but was very small and I already had a lighter bag in that color and size. I find medium size bags work best for me. I don't have to switch out of my wallet and I can take my glasses and sunglasses as well as a small pouch. For me it could be messenger , shoulder or hand held as long as the size is right. Thanks to you I do see a pattern it was just not style or color but it was size.

I used to be a big-bag-only girl. I carry everything but a kitchen sink. Can't do that anymore. My shoulders won't let me. [emoji29] And last year, I went as far as a mini bag and I survive. [emoji4] I now know I can live a healthier life with a small-to-medium bag and I love that, too. [emoji4]

I forgot an important (to me) black bag (worn today with Gucci cap)

This is my black box sellier Kelly 32. I wanted Handel's 'Where'er You Walk' in the background as a little joke but it's not discernible (I promise it's there).

No Sbs old style available. The new one the strap was super short. They will call me when what I want comes in. How long is the strap on the old version? They had the mini cara backpack but only in oak or black. Hand held the cara is quite small.

I agree, it used to be my favourite brand but I stopped buying new about 4-5 years ago and started buying other brands. I felt Mulberry were just trading on past reputation, and the leather was not good, microfibre just finished me off, and the prices became ridiculous to boot  I bought a bag from the new collection last year, but it wasn't a keeper for me and I sold it recently. Some of the new designs are lovely, but many are too structured for me and I still think prices are too high. I downsized a lot and only have 2 Mulberry bags left now.

It's long enough to easily wear x-body  (the SBS)
The medium Cara in NVT is a heavy bag though.

I think all the challenges we've done recently helped a lot, for many of us at least
to find the right style and size, to find the most convenient way of wear and frequency of switching, etc
great job, ladies!!
I agree with you. Normally I would have bought something today because it was a deal and the color was right but the straps were to short for my height and I was good and walked away.

I think so too. I've been choosier buying, (resisted several impulse purchases recently - which is unheard of for me ) and pickier about what I keep, in that I've let go of several things I don't really love

Back from traveling and a truly, truly exhausting couple weeks. Just traded (yes!) a bag for a new black bag, so will post most of the black collection tomorrow when it arrives. I am finally feeling "complete" on blacks, which has always felt weirdly lacking to me.

Thank you.

I'm looking at gold taurillion. Evelyns i've been told, are really scarce right now. I have a friend who works as a personal shopper and its been difficult hunting one down. None in the UK; she just came back from Paris as well, no luck.
This will be my first H purchase so no history with a boutique or SA.
As long as shes able to get one brand new from her contacts, I don't mind paying a premium for it. Would still work out cheaper than a B or a K (which i would love to own but the whole drama involved in getting one is not for me).

Gold will be lovely - I didn't know Evelynes were hard to find right now.
I have an Evelyne III PM in etoupe clemence and I find it such an easy bag to wear and use - one of my most used bags.
Good luck with your search!

Where are you located @kemi? There are about six colors of Evelyne PM on the US website right now including a stunning Bordeaux. UK had a Gris Mouette this am but, although I can still see it, it doesn't seem to be available for purchase. The Evie IS a great bag....if I were not downsizing I'd buy that Bordeaux in a heartbeat.
