Ha ha! I bust mine this year again on the buying limit. I should be ashamed, but I really don't. I don't know why. I'm loving everything I get (The Massaccesi Selene Zip Midi for my BD with Penelope pouches, and some more I'm waiting to be delivered.) So far, I'm loving everything I get so, no regret on this. At some point, I even think about letting go some of my older bags and non-leather stuff to get more MM bags. I'll see how that turn out.

I think I'm having a good year, minus the fact that I'm busting my own buying limit. [emoji4]

Meanwhile, it also help me identify where I am at my collection. I think I should address my goal in another way next year. I want to approach it in another way.

I didn't put a limit number wise because I always fail lol.

But I feel over time we are now buying because we love an item and can use it, as opposed to blindly buying like before.

I don't know what mine are for sure. Yet.

Maybe you don't need any handbag resolutions and that's ok!

Work in progress, but i already acquired more bags i initially planned, but i couldn't pass on any of them, so no bad/guilty feelings
moved on a few, and will some more, as well as clothes, i am overhauling my whole closet
i am adding more accessories to give my existing collections more options of combinations (scarves, bracelets)

You found some great bags so that's okay!
I love your bag and accessory combinations, it's inspired me to get working on accessories.

@bake I think I will come up with one. I'm just not sure yet what that is?!

Are there any limitations you want to be mindful of? Some have space, budget, collection number limitations.

things you want to buy/don't want to buy?

Things you want to use more?

Trying to remember everyone's resolutions is hard lol.

But it'll come to you. And even if it doesn't, still okay.

Does anyone nest one bag in another? How many bags go in a bag if you do?

The fact that I am considering this may mean I'm running out of space.

But my Neverfull is empty and I feel like I can totally put another bag in it to make more space...

ETA: My bags occupy one shelf, and the LCs are on this hanger thing. SLGs and charms in a drawer. Those are my space limits, which is why I think I should maximize the space of my Neverfull [emoji23]

These are a good set of questions, I can use these and maybe my goal will be in the answers?! Thanks!

I got my two bags from Belgium, and I'm floored by the quality of Cathy's sewing.
This cognac tote stands up on its own and I love the simple style.

I don't know if a close up does justice to her stitching but they are incredibly straight and even and every spot on one side is a complete mirror image of the corresponding other side, you can count stitches and placement and it is precise in a way I have never seen from an etsy bag. Surgeon like precision!View attachment 3633939

This pale lilac tote is the most scrumptious soft leather I could fondle all day.

Both are simple unlined totes that weigh a pound or less. I'm smitten and impressed! The cognac tote was €180 and the painted edges and details are perfect. The lilac tote was €55 which is ridiculous. It's raw edged and simple but the leather alone would cost that. What a deal.
I am ordering a custom designed bag with leather lining for around €285. She is definitely under priced but she is still studying the art of luxury bag making so I guess she's happy just to practice while learning under whomever her teacher is she refers to. After six years she seems to be quite good already but maybe it takes another 6 years to finish whatever program she's in, I have no idea how it works.
Anyway hope you enjoyed this review!

What is the link to her Etsy store? The color of the tote is gorgeous!

Here are my black bags. Not really much change from last year except for the 2 recent Epis. I actually realized late last year that I neglected my blacks and at that time didn't have a more smart looking black bag for more formal office functions (like for meetings outside). So I really searched when I had my trip recently. I also added 2 Longchamps last year.

At the back row L-R: LV Alma Epi, LV Speedy 30 Epi, RM MAM with green zipper track and RM MAM with iguana trim (I think that's how it's called)

Front row L-R: LV Speedy 25 Epi, Massaccesi mini Zhoe, Marc Jacobs mini 1984 and Marc Jacobs Rita shoulder bag with chain strap

In addition, I have blacks I have designated as document/laptop bag:

Left is Longchamp Le Pliage N/S tote, top right is A Fossil Emma laptop bag that has just been delivered to my sister and which I will get in June, and a Tod's big leather tote (I don't know the name).
Beautiful black collection- love your Dior Panarea tote!

Very nice blacks, I love your two Diors!!
Thanks! When I put out the Maris Pearl for the pictorial I was in awe again! I don't know why I don't use it more. Well, probably the smaller opening like the Lady Diors...

Great collection!!
love your Dior tote
Thanks K!!

Omg. The epi speedies! Which size is better? 25 or 30?

And the MJ 1984!! It's much better in black than the shades of blue I see at the rack! In black I would adore it!

The LC NS tote is so different. So long.
Thanks Bake! For daily use I prefer the Speedy 30. The 25 is like a cutesy bag for weekends out, at least for me. My 25 is from 1993, really vintage, and has gold tone hardware. I prefer the silver on the 30 from 2008. I'm waiting now for my bag insert from Samorga made for Speedy 30, I hope to like the fuller shape much better when it's in. Btw, when the SA in the Japan store brought down the 30 from the shelf, I thought it was 35. But I already read somewhere here that the Speedy in Epis are bigger.

I can't make up my mind on this MJ mini 1984. I really like it, but it's been off-on my ebay listing. Because it is a mini bag that I only need a few of. I have not seen the blue version IRL but I suppose black is really more beautiful! If I'm not mistaken this is goat skin.

How's everyone on their goals?
I think I'm still okay but I want no bag purchase on the 2nd half of the year. But is that possible?! [emoji5]

I think you will have more MM bags than me when your order(s?) arrive. I'm trying to space my order because of the customs duties that I still have not come to accept, haha. But I will be ordering one soon for delivery to my sister in the US.

Does anyone nest one bag in another? How many bags go in a bag if you do?

The fact that I am considering this may mean I'm running out of space.

But my Neverfull is empty and I feel like I can totally put another bag in it to make more space...

I do. Especially with the totes and the mini bags. I want the totes to be stuffed, so nesting is a substitute for some paper stuffing.

And laineycat, I'm still over the moon for both bags. I have been definitely using them and I am just enamored.
I also love love love my March arrival from Massaccesi, the selene midi zip in chocolate verona. And my preloved Fendi. I think 4 bags in a row, in a few days time, that were true love has helped make me sated in a lasting way.

Good thing I love the last MM I got because I don't know if I mentioned it here but Colette told me I was no longer welcome to purchase from them. This was after my last bag starting to fray on the first carry at the handles, and I asked what to do about it and they suggested I mail it back to have standard handles put on and i did so. They followed up with a break up email. Anyway luckily I don't like anything in their spring collection and like I was saying I am quite bag content. And I can buy them second hand on our Facebook group. So no big deal and actually helping me be cured with obsession over picking the specifics to custom orders from italy! It all aligned really well with curing my bag shopping addiction for the moment, when taken altogether. I was hurt for one day but now I'm thinking it was a blessing in disguise to be ejected from the MM family. Besides I don't feel like I did anything wrong or was a too demanding customer or anything, so it's kind of easy for me to shrug it off since I'm not feeling badly about my behavior or anything. If they don't want my business that's fine, there are other bag makers. Like Cathy in Belgium who does equally as polished looking bags for half the price.

Anyway, I'm doing great with a no buy April. Really feel I have a ton of perfect bags for spring. I have to photo my blacks!!!!

Here are a couple pictures with more to come! I just had to add a picture with my sandals because I love them together!

Thank you so much for posting these! I love them both and all your sandals look amazing with them! I'm a real lover of old epi so I must check out the new version... I don't know if it's for me yet because when I looked at the zcp in the newer epi, I wasn't too keen because it was thinner but I can see that thinner would be better for weight in a b style... I really love speedy epi and I love the b style, so we'll have to see! The Gabrielle, I LOVE. I usually admire Chanel from afar 'cuz it doesn't suite my lifestyle, but the Gabrielle is one I might actually consider to add to my collection. I'll have to find the time to check these out irl when I get the chance. Thanks again for posting them, the pics have definitely been helpful!

How's everyone on their goals?
SO far so good - my resolution was to not add to my collection this year and try to minimize by 10 items. So far, i've let go of 3 bags and seriously on the fence on a fourth.

The only bag I put bags into is my Coach Bleeker and I only store my nylon bags in it, or carefree bags. It helps to keep the shape of my Bleeker and saves room!

The love I'm giving or feeling toward any pieces in my wardrobe.

things you want to buy/don't want to buy?

I don't have anything in this category. I buy what I like and get rid of what I don't love anymore.

Things you want to use more?

My SLGs. [emoji4]

i have majority of my collection in flat unstructured bags, so i keep them in a pile like pan-cakes, but the ones that have the shape are all filled with a smaller bags/pouches/clutches, my BV messenger intrecciato holds another BV messenger in plume leather, which is of a smaller size, which in its turn holds my Chanel accordeon bag, so they are helping each other to preserve the shape and make it easier for me to search for the one i need
