2017 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

So I went to my resolutions on page one.

If I stay on track, I'll be at 60% under $10 cost per wear. New additions have hampered the 70% goal [emoji28]

I am using all my SLGs, charms, and twillies, including new additions. This isn't too hard lol.

I've gotten 2.5 months of no bag shopping (like what, 2 months and 25 days? Haha). Need another 2.5 more on ban island.

Core collection (all bags minus all LCs) as of right now is 16 bags.

My current total is 25. There's 3 bags on the wishlist. So those would still fit in my limit of 20 core/non LC bags.

Side note: I don't count LCs as much because they store flat and are relatively inexpensive. However I do not plan to add any except for limited editions now.

So there I am. That 60% might drop depending if I get the wishlist items. But that resolution did get me wearing a lot of bags till they got to $10 cpw. 15 bags at under $10 cpw!

Hopefully revisiting my goals means I'll be good for 2.5 months, maybe even 2 months and 25 days! [emoji23]

Here are my black bags. Not really much change from last year except for the 2 recent Epis. I actually realized late last year that I neglected my blacks and at that time didn't have a more smart looking black bag for more formal office functions (like for meetings outside). So I really searched when I had my trip recently. I also added 2 Longchamps last year.

At the back row L-R: LV Alma Epi, LV Speedy 30 Epi, RM MAM with green zipper track and RM MAM with iguana trim (I think that's how it's called)

Middle row L-R: Dior small Panarea tote, Dior Maris Pearl, MbMJ preppy nylon Natasha and Longchamp Le Foulonne tote

Front row L-R: LV Speedy 25 Epi, Massaccesi mini Zhoe, Marc Jacobs mini 1984 and Marc Jacobs Rita shoulder bag with chain strap

Solo at the middle front: Longchamp medium Neo tote

In addition, I have blacks I have designated as document/laptop bag:

Thanks so much! The crazy weather this year caused me to have combined cabin fever/spring fever and I went a little nuts! I'm good now, though, or at least I keep telling myself that! Here are a few interior shots of Gabrielle. There are two slip pockets and a zip pocket on the opposite wall. There is also a leash for keys. I like that they decide to use the same style of slip pocket they put in the flap. I'm liking this even more.

I have that first one in black (or very very similar). Mine is pure wool and from the Soviet Union , a present from my Russian ballet teacher she'd brought with her many, many years ago.

These are both beautiful and absolutely magical. Now very popular again in Russia and I'm very glad all over the world. I wish you very good health to wear them.

Ha ha! I bust mine this year again on the buying limit. I should be ashamed, but I really don't. I don't know why. I'm loving everything I get (The Massaccesi Selene Zip Midi for my BD with Penelope pouches, and some more I'm waiting to be delivered.) So far, I'm loving everything I get so, no regret on this. At some point, I even think about letting go some of my older bags and non-leather stuff to get more MM bags. I'll see how that turn out.

I think I'm having a good year, minus the fact that I'm busting my own buying limit. [emoji4]

Meanwhile, it also help me identify where I am at my collection. I think I should address my goal in another way next year. I want to approach it in another way.

Work in progress, but i already acquired more bags i initially planned, but i couldn't pass on any of them, so no bad/guilty feelings
moved on a few, and will some more, as well as clothes, i am overhauling my whole closet
i am adding more accessories to give my existing collections more options of combinations (scarves, bracelets)

Omg. The epi speedies! Which size is better? 25 or 30?

And the MJ 1984!! It's much better in black than the shades of blue I see at the rack! In black I would adore it!

The LC NS tote is so different. So long.
