I always keep an envirosax bag in my bag, usually for shopping purposes and a protective cover for my bag if it rains very heavily. I wasn't sure if the bag was truly rainproof, but I thought it could at least provide some protection for my bag while I brave through the rain!

2017 Jan to Mar: 3 in, 0 out (4 in if I count 1 SLG)

I'm still working on the '0 out'. :sweatdrop:

I have a Nightingale which Givenchy called it as aubergine. I don't know if it fits your definition of the black-purple. Maybe not. (this bag is at the top of my list of bags to ‘out’. Too heavy for me and I have not used it since a long time ago)

The bag was soaking with water inside. I was shocked. I'm going to look at waterproof bags again

That's a beautiful dark, dark red. I have a few red bags similar to this colour, perhaps not so lusciously dark, I just want similar but just a bit more - aubergine. However, I could happily give this a happy home, it's TDF!

It's a shame it is too heavy because it sure is a stunning color. I had to get rid of my heavy bags too. Not always easy when they are so pretty.

Mz Wallace Mulberry Paige and Bally small Bernina tote. These are what I have now.
The mulberry released by MZW was really quite attractive, I was especially attracted to the small abbey in Mulberry. It's a great color for sure. MZW does a lot of pretty colors, so it can be very tempting to want to buy loads of bags. XD

I have difficulty capturing its color on camera. I once tried to take pictures at night, but the bag looks almost like black in the pictures. I think the bag is overall still more purple in color. Never thought of it as red, now that's interesting. I was carried away by how beautiful it looked under the lights in the boutique the first time I saw it (it was stunning!). But I went home, then went back to the boutique again the next day just to catch another glimpse. This was my 2nd designer bag, so it was back in a period when I had just started to dip my toes (and hands) into designer brands. I definitely didn't put as much thought into bag purchases then as I do now.

Yes, it is very heavy (for me). I compared its leather swatch with my other Givenchy bags swatches, and its leather was the thickest of them all. And the bag is a medium size, which doesn't helps either. Big and heavy. I think the bag carried me, rather than me carrying it. But I guess it is ok to part with a bag, even if it's pretty. I have realised by now that there will always be other prettier (or just as pretty) bags. Which is why I can't stop myself from looking. :sweatdrop:

Love all your bags here!! Mulberry medium Lily is on my wishlist!
Thank you! And yay, Lily fan. But I think I do wish I had tried to find it in the regular size instead (this is pre-owned). Medium can be a bit heavy, especially if you tried to load it with a bit too many stuff. But that rose petal is so

And here are my purples and pink. I have already realised I favor purple quite heavily when it comes to Givenchy bags. I guess I really like their purples.

These are all gorgeous. I didn't know Giv did such nice colours.

I looked at Prune (one side of the Double Sens) but it's more purplely-brown rather than a black-purple, I'm guessing that's the one you mean. Raisin is lovely but really just a dark soft purple (and in the new batch quite brown too) Anemone is a bright violet (I have a Rodeo charm in the colour) other purples are brighter or a lot more 'feminine'. Amethyst only comes in croc (I have a belt in it) and is also a more straight forward purple. BV Borola is too red. I want the rouge-noir of the purple world 'violet-noir'.

Ah... I see. As much as it sounds divine, that kind of deep red-purple is so hard to come by. I can't think if I've ever seen any. [emoji848] Normally, it tends to be on the brown scale. [emoji848]

The nightingale is pretty but it does look heavy.

All of your bags in Violet Week are so beautiful. What a treat for the eye and soul at the outset of Spring!

My four are: LV Sofia Coppola and the mini Ferragamo Fiamma; BV Pillow, and a Coach.

Adorable Ferragamo and LV SC.

The MZW in Mulberry sounds like my HG colour. With the ghw it's even richer.
