That was hilarious! Very similar to my situation! But I'm just glad it was the 1 year old who understood nothing and not the 3 year old who would have had tons of questions.
Ooops!!! [emoji28]And my little photobomber just upped her game and bombed into the room that we thought was locked at a pinnacle moment of her parents happy reunion after daddy's week long work trip. Morning delight fright! Or at least, startle! Thank god my father in law who is staying with us a couple days was not nearby to get an eye full when the door swung open (our bedroom opens on to the living room/foyer area, which I now see as a major layout flaw).
Thanks for sharing this Vink! Hard to maintain composure during such a situation.https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/03/10/world/europe/bbc-interview-toddler-interruption.html
And the news to go with it. [emoji38]

This is my scarf of the day. I was browsing a second hand designer consignment boutique in San Francisco about seven years ago and I saw a dress in cream silk with beautiful embroidery and bought it. I took it home and five years after it was never worn, I cut it up and turned it into a very long scarf.View attachment 3632075 maybe 2 feet by 8 feet? But I love all the vivid primary colors, flowers and birds, metallic gold thread as well. It matches everything and it is totally unique.
Also totally effing wrinkled but don't all silk scarves wrinkle like crazy? How do you prevent that? Folding? I don't know if I can be that grown up.
Anyway after the necklace story and now this one, I am kind of having an epiphany that I love pretty things but most of all i love pretty things that I designed myself or at least played a big hand in designing. I think it is really important to me to be an odd ball. Even the premier designer bags I want to have are bags I have never seen anyone carry on the street before. The ones I have in my collection that do not fit into that have been shelved indefinitely years ago and I've never truly loved them. And I am obsessed with finding truly perfectly crafted bags that I get to design from the ground up, hence my etsy obsession.
Even my HG is a wacko choice, a Carlos Falchi metallic croc hobo that came out nearly a decade ago and was never even fashionable then? Who loves that? Me! I have weird tastes. & I seem to be allergic to classic bags. I'm weird. I've never understood so clearly my fashion sense before. Black Sheep should be my username, not hopeless.
Ok so I kinda fell into LV store yesterday. I definitely like the carryall. Only con is lack of strap. The keepall with strap will definitely need to be 50. The 45 was just too small. In addition they had a rolling duffle etole that I really liked. What I didn't like was the price. It was almost 3k.I'm actually considering the carryall!
I was at the boutique and they put the monogram strap with the pink leather, and it looked super cute. The strap though is shoulder only, so I'd definitely ask them to pack up one to gauge the comfort. It looks better to plop on top of a rolling suitcase.
Seeing it with a shoulder strap made it more of a contender. The Keepall just looks so bulky on me.
The speedy 40 wouldn't carry as much, but I'm trying to keep my bag without wheels relatively light.
I might go to try them out again next week. I've been so indecisive with travel pieces, I've been trying one every time I visit. I'll take pics if I go.
How do you like the Ferragamo? I saw a blue and red striped one and found it cute.
We are expecting almost two feet of snow tomorrow. I just hope I don't lose power because that would mean no heat and I have tropical pet birds. We sure live in opposites. Too hot or too cold neither one is any fun.Our weather bureau has not declared the official start of summer here, but it's getting hot by the day! Love your Bal!

Also they had a mono drawstring bag neonoe trimmed in black that was super cute. The only one they had. Apparently they sell out quickly. My sister is eyeing this bag.
Went by Chanel to check out few items. I am thinking the ocase clutch will be my next purchase. It was really nice. They didn't have in color I wanted so I didn't get it.
Thinking I can score my carryall and the o case for 3k.

Us too, and I have a big work deadline Wednesday, so I am nervous. I want that warm weather we've been having to come back.We are expecting almost two feet of snow tomorrow. I think we peak at low 30s (Celsius) at the moment. But I think last year we neared 40. Hope that storm will not be bad.Oh my... I hope you'll be ok. We're totally on the opposite. They just announced that we're having some kind of weather pressure that will hike up the temperature so between March 14-18, the temperature may reach 40 degree Celsius. And we may also get tropical storm.
